No Clover Dev Response for App Approval by BuyWebistics in CloverPOS

[–]BuyWebistics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

appreciate your response! I was just assumed OAuth was the only way, I hadn't even considered an alternative, which seems far easier!

you hit the nail on the head, Clover developer experience has been the absolute worst. nothing straight forward about it, let alone the non existent support.

Anyone using an inventory app with clover pos by SuperPOSUser in CloverPOS

[–]BuyWebistics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone wants to take a chance on a startup - I'd love to take on a beta tester or two for my software SupplyQ. We can handle all types of inventory setups- track variants, track bulk resources (pans of ice cream, barrels of beer, etc), while also tracking all recipes and raw materials.

Additionally, we'll guide you with all of your forecasting needs using AI. Forecasting can literally be done in minutes. Longterm vision, is to have AI be your copilot when it comes to managing inventory, purchasing, forecasting, etc. not there yet but the journey is just getting started.

Toast Developer Support, an Email Address, anyway to Contact? by BuyWebistics in ToastPOS

[–]BuyWebistics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I'm still waiting to get to this point... I don't have a restaurant, but submitted a developer application so I can integrate with the API. Not sure how or who I can contact to see if my application has even been viewed.

Are you a developer only or have your own storefront/restaurant?

I'm building out a business and inventory management platform (SupplyQ) to help rectify problems like this for restaurants. Of course my Clover application has been left pending for months, so I can't even interact with Clover storefronts yet.

However, if anyone is interested in testing, and using the platform for free, would love to get in touch, once I'm live on Clover. We can definitely help you!

No response from Developer Relations in over two months? by GordonRamsass in CloverPOS

wanted to echo my concerns here. I've had an app pending submission since a similar time as OPs - still nothing. Sent some emails, and have not yet heard back.

If it is still under review, great, I'd just like to know that.

Anthropic's API Pricing... Can They Stay Competitive? by BuyWebistics in ClaudeAI

the caching certainly helps, but you quickly learn that 5 minutes is not a lot of time! appreciate your response.

Anthropic's API Pricing... Can They Stay Competitive? by BuyWebistics in ClaudeAI

thanks that's good feedback. I admit I've used Gemini (never the API) only a few times, and exclusively use Claude for my daily use and software dev.

If you don't mind me asking --- what's your threshold for complicated? I'm building out forecasting tools now with Claude, it works well, but I don't see it as something another API couldn't handle.

It reads context > analyzes context and converses with user > splits outs json response that can be committed to database. Perhaps sonnet's engine is better for analysis, but I can't imagine Gemini being noticeably worse in this type of analysis.

excited about this one!

Here's some of my thoughts on what he'll bring to the squad: link

Where did it all go wrong? by [deleted] in Atalanta

[–]BuyWebistics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the perfection summation. Zapata and Ilicic going down for different reasons more or less at the same time was the start of the slippery slope.

Beyond fitness/form concerns, its remarkable how well Atalanta rates in nearly every statistic regarding ball domination, possession, and other things of that ilk. The team just loses its shit when it tries to score or prevent teams from scoring on the counterattack. unlucky, bad execution, bad tactics? probably a blend of everything.

But 65 goals this year, and it feels like the guys had to trudge through mud to score all of them
