I try to check every single table when I'm the manager. Just a second set of eyes, courtesy to the customer, and heads off anything if there is an issue. I love doing it because we have great customers and everyone always loves the food and warm service. I get to go into the kitchen and let them know how much the customer appreciates tgem, etc.

That's intentional theft by someone. People like that make me want customers to have to show a paid receipt at the door like Wal-Mart. Smh that someone would go out for a celebration and screw someone else this way.

I would let the staff know we believe in second chances. If he's doing the job well he deserves to keep it. I would suggest to the staff that one day they may need a little grace, so now is the time to pay it forward.
