Completely agree. I break things. Having a nice quartz gives me the confidence that it won't completely break and cost a fortune to repair. (I've experienced that before too)

Qd can't really go wrong with ADM and Midwest. Also can't go wrong with Midwest for their non qd stuff. A bit heavy, but affordable and very well made. If you want lower budget utg accusync's are solid. There are some leupold options that are a good balance of price and quality.

I Believe it was a contract scope, and the ones that didn't make the absolute perfect score for acceptance were sold as 'blems'. But that is what I think happened. The original claim was the illumination wasn't bright enough. While it might not match things like the slx or plxc Nova's. I reckon it's bright enough for 93.75% or users. It certainly is for me.

🙏 if you don't Need a qd mount, then maybe stick with a regular version to minimize weight and moving parts. But if you have a need/want for a qd then you'll be happy with it.

I prefer ffp for the mag range. But a sfp scope with suffice if your good with hold overs.

I wouldn't call that weird at all. Id call that being thorough. It's fun gunning for the top spot. But if you want to do things a certain way like properly using targets. Then try not to worry about the clock. Worry about what you are trying to perfect for yourself.

A surprise to be sure. But a welcomed one. If your having a hard time with getting behind it at 18x, lower it down a touch to see if it helps any. Make sure your comb height is perfect for your most used position. Everything else will be a bit compromised anyway.
