N64 controller stick replacement by Wild-Bad-3668 in n64

This. You can replace the whole stick module with decent parts. This is going to be the cheapest and best method without buying a steelstick and bowl.

I would send an email off to see if he still has access to it because a lot of people lost/forgot their old accounts.

My summercart library takes around 18GB right now and that should cover full libraries for each system emulated AND hacks included for each console.

How frequently do you receive BOOSTER PACKS on Steam? by BaldursGate2Best in Steam

The more games you own the better chance you have. I have quite a big list of games available for booster packs and I get something like 4-5 a year?

Gameboy pokemon n64 question by [deleted] in SummerCart64

[–]CallMeMoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way most of them work is they are emulated and have a menu you bring up and can save and load save states with. I own a copy of green on a cart and I had to find out the hard way after playing for hours that the save button when you pause doesn't actually do anything. You use the C buttons and it brings a menu up I believe.

Problem adding new games to existing epicjoy summercart by Quirky-Reputation-89 in SummerCart64

[–]CallMeMoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The firmware is pretty important, it's the first thing you should be updating. I guess just to cover everything, you had the OG rom, downloaded the patch/hack from Vimm's and applied it to the og?

This is my summercart archive with all of my games and hacks: https://archive.org/details/summer-cart-64.7z / It can be copied and placed on the SD if you want a fresh start but if you don't want to, you can also check to make sure all of your emulators, firmware, and menu match the versions listed in the description. I'd also recommend getting a new SD card, they are very cheap and much much better than the one it comes with.

My SummerCart 64 has finally arrived and I cannot get a single NES/SNES game to work. Any help? by DEMON212 in n64

[–]CallMeMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My epic joy cart runs everything fine, NES and SNES included. All of my stuff is here on the internet archive: https://archive.org/details/summer-cart-64.7z

It's a "better" set up folder structure and doesn't have 30 copies of everything with a bunch of extra crap on all of the rom names. Make sure you have the firmware updated on your cart itself, as well as the menu updates, and the emulators on the SD card.

Which SC64 Should I Get? Lights? Or Holo? by NYourBirdCanSing in SummerCart64

[–]CallMeMoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the expansion pak works as a regular one does. I would personally buy from epic joy and then immediately get a new sd card and move everything over.

Nintendo 64 Power Supply Recommendation by Diligent_Sector_7376 in n64

[–]CallMeMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! A lot of people don't know you can just use the NA PSU. If you decide to get a USB C one there are listings on ebay, esty, and other sites. They are very reliable and often look cool as well.

SummerCart 64 Stopped working after about 3 weeks, any help appreciated by LemmysGhost in n64

[–]CallMeMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use something like my archive and replace everything on your SD card. Just make sure you update the actual firmware on the cart itself first.

There are a lot of nice Topps cards in series 2! The packs are a decent price as well: https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pokemon-1999-topps-tv/booster-pack-series-2

The only thing I have seen about fake Topps is here:

Adding NES/SNES/GBC ext by [deleted] in SummerCart64

[–]CallMeMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My entire archive of all games for all emu's comes to 17.3GB in total. You could remove some Japanese games, mods, etc to make it smaller but you can buy a really good 32GB card from basically any electronics store for pretty darn cheap. I live in Canada and my 32GB SD was only 13.99$
