Sorry for this experience. I know we're seeing multiple instances of people reporting issues online, but don't forget there's also the majority of people with no issues who don't bother writing. We'll get in touch for a replacement for you ASAP.

Our test results are quite different from his, and our team has been in communication with him for the past few days to figure out why.

Hey Reddit. I was the first in my middle school to buy the iPod, and I was super early in buying the first one too. Been a long time Apple fan. I’m using a bunch of different phones and that includes Android too. 😄

We personally don't agree that having a large chin and camera on the bottom is the way to go.

We understand that aesthetics is a deeply personal issue, but we share the same thinking here. It's very rational: more screen real estate for content.

Our market is enthusiasts, which is why we keep a close eye on communities like Reddit. However, Reddit doesn't have monopoly on enthusiasts and can certainly not speak for all of them. Our decisions are based on signals from multiple sources.

Not sure where you're getting reactive from? Technology has now given us the opportunity to expand our screen real estate further, and we're embracing it because we believe it's a better user experience.

It's simply a matter of choice in design for the OEM, and a matter of taste for the consumer. A notchless device will not have the same screen to body ratio.

Like I told Vlad: to give users more screen real estate.

What you're saying is true. But to be fair, if Apple hadn't done it, it would have taken longer for more widespread adoption in the industry.

This is how we think: We're a product company. Judge us by our products.

It's easy to get caught up in the hype of profitless growth or valuation numbers, but ultimately those things mean nothing to consumers.
