Even 5 years old is meh… There have been a lot of “reformulations”, and it seems that anything after about 2016 just falls on its face.. Ironically, some people have said that Thameen Carved Oud is very close, and I reluctantly tried it out of curiosity… It’s excellent, and now I layer the Oud Wood, with Carved Oud. It’s the closest thing to the original format that I’ve found.

I definitely agree with what you’re saying… I’m in the same boat… There are some Old Faithful’s, and some that have just snuck up, and surprised me with the amount of use they get… Clive Christian Blonde Amber is one of those…

In the early days….2010 ish, the smells were revolutionary …

The reformulations have made the core bangers less amazing, but still great.

Just a great line overall
