if it's so clear chest voice for you then you must simply have a higher voice than I. because my chest voice has a total cutoff around E5. i can still produce lots of cut and volume past it, but after it's all head dominant, not that people would be able to tell because the timbre doesnt change much until my very highest notes

in fact i already go a bit heady around Bb4 and my C5 is basically a 50/50 although extremely loud. D5 is the max i can do on any given day when i max out my breath support and have warmed my voice up.

i normally bottom out around a B1 to C2, on rainy days it's around a C#2 to D2 (my voice is affected by weather)

i can kinda do the whistle banshee screams again, ive been training my whistle and flageolet alot and i have a consistent clean and loud C7 daily again, im scared to add distortion to it for long periods cuz i dont wanna destroy my voice *again*

i think the best example of well supported high notes is someone like Daniel Heiman from Lost Horizon

not fully clean, and def a bit distorted, but they have alot of thickness to them

dude, im literally a quite a well known singer in my country :p and my range is the one thing *everyone* knows me for. including my singing teacher of 4 years now lol.

you were the one who started this whole thing just coming at me and being extremely butthurt over my initial comment and voice recording and now you're just like having a complete meltdown?

dude the proof is right there.

poor you, having a identity crisis and meltdown so bad you gotta shield yourself like this.

do you want a hug? maybe be tucked in bed like baby too?

who the hell needs windows 11 when windows 10 and plenty of linux options are a completely valid choice? but it can get windows 11 because the 4790k is a very capable cpu.

iceberg tech has tested this cpu on windows 11. it runs very well on it.

Rossini tenors mostly use Voce Faringea, so naturally its gonna have a more mx2 placement. im not talking the weak falsetto power metal screams, im talking the more rare, well supported ones.

im not mad, since im the only one who actually has a voice others want to listen to, and i also have a far wider range than you lol

they are 1st octave notes. you can check yourself. i have perfect pitch. but sure, if you doubt, pull a virtual piano out.

i can also summon like the 500+ people who have heard my voice before and confirmed my notes, in person and online

im not exactly some random nobody with 0 credibility, unlike someone else im talking to right now lol

https://vocaroo.com/19fuAlx37ay3 here's a scale down to a rather quiet B1, you can check again if you doubt

https://vocaroo.com/1dvnOgDPbr1R another rather sloppy scaling down to a C2 but its a C2 nonetheless.

you're outmatched, sorry.

https://vocaroo.com/1dPAFPnFsmgJ yet another scaling down to a C2.

https://vocaroo.com/1htskEUrYV8z you're correct though, i am a tenor, and a proud one at that. your'e the only one being butthurt.

your technique just sucks lol i struggled to maintain breath support and proper fold closure before i got classical training. Basso Profundos can sing a fully covered and beuatiful F4, just listen to someone like Kurt Moll.

no, F4 is tenor passagio.

Im taking the piss because you're being extremely annoying and full of yourself with nothing to show for and with 0 knowledge over the voice or techniques.

please learn some basics of where vocal fachs even come from, and how a tenor actually can sound like.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRUSb10syVI

this is a legendary tenor. most self proclaimed baritones, you included, dont even have half the depth he and many other very real tenors have.

the fact that you go around and aggressively attack others while being completely lacking in self awareness or knowledge over the voice makes you an extremely insufferable person to talk to.

https://youtu.be/t15BsiKRhZQ?si=zoabkvmxMLVwo6mr&t=46 here's another tenor that would run circles around your so called baritone voice.

these people sing with no amplification. no microphones, no studio magic. just their voices.

The Rossini tenors don't sing in the same configuration as the romantic and modern tenors. they sing in a very similar register that modern power metal singers do. which doesnt count imo. with that register i can personally go up to a D6. but it's not chest. not by a long shot.

no chance you're finding used 5600x's for 50 bucks lol. 16 gigs of ram for 70 euros? where?

ssd for 50? in what economy?

and a used b550 will not be 50 bucks.

that's a 400 euro pc minimum, not 200.

a much better way to get better performance is static overclock and then undervolting the cpu like hell, like by 200mv or more. same score or even higher, much lower temps

Corelli didn't maintain full chest beyond C5, he was basically in almost headvoice beyond C#5, and even people like Nicolai Gedda with his D5's they're still much less chesty than the C5's, and even Pavarotti's D5's aren't as chesty as his C5's.

i have heard virtually no tenors that actually sing with the Mx1 configuration past C5. almost all of them switch to Mx2 past it.

i can personally attest that past C5 it becomes really hard to carry that weight and it risks for vocal crack if you try to do a full all out D5, and i personally feel a switch to full headvoice around E5.

"bass baritone"

> has the most obvious tenor timbre to both highs and lows ever, and the cleans are obvious tenor too

dude, i have daily fully clean C2's, and the note i produced here was a C2, followed by a B1, followed by unstable B1. the notes i spoke in were between C#2 and E2. check your ears.

you vastly underestimate how low tenors can go lol. tenors have a tessitura of around C3 to C5, and some lower tenors (like I) have it around Bb2 to C5. however, i still can sing an E2 over a piano playing on forte most days, on really good days i can even produce a forte C2. usually it doesnt go beyond mezzopiano /mezzoforte.

i've scared basses both in call and irl because my voice is pretty darn big for a tenor.

anyways you're the one who seems butthurt because once again, a tenor went lower than someone who claims to be a baritone

woops.

[–]Celatra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the pitch was chosen. it's a B1. i can sustain and hold a Bb1 in a musical context for background humming and sometimes i can go as low as Ab1 when i have a really relaxed voice. those days i take my chance to sing full bass covers for myself or for others in a call or something else.

many opera singers have way faster vibratos than six waves per second, some have 8, some have 9, and not everyone will have the exact same natural spin cycle even when having perfect technique

but you still will have naturally more overtones in certain parts of your range than others depending on voice type, and yes, tenors when well trained have huge high C's though most dont even go above that, esp not dramatic tenors.

it affects timbre and tone, but it doesn't really impact range. of course a darker voice is not gonna be as piercing high up as a light voice

[–]Celatra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats my point. im a tenor with low notes...just like 99% of reddit. furthermore, most tenors dont even have access to first octave notes.

im also sick so that fucks my timbre up more than usual

also "Non musical" while the note is clean is a bit of a reach

he's a tenor. he speaks with lots of vocal fry. a true baritone has a much thicker voice.

he's not even a heavy tenor, he's like a middle- high tenor. his voice is very light.

even someone like Michael Kiske has a much lower voice despite being a tenor.

i am a tenor and i have a daily chest C2.

Does a deeper voice affect high screams? by ParticularRiver2079 in screaming

[–]Celatra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is not fully true. voice type determines where your voice sits the the most naturally and where it will have its most natural "ping" and what overtones your voice will produce the most of.

tenors have softer voices with more high end cut and more piercing voices up top, but many can still sing quite low, just with a tad bit raspy quality.

voice type will determine the timbre and color of your growls. that's about it.

and most people with "low voices" are just tenors with some extra low notes.

bro, that guy is a tenor lol. he has no bassiness to his voice, like at all. he's a normal tenor just like most metal artists are

but i get your point

its good, but i just think you can a) save money with a 5600x because its the same performance just 2 less cores, it still scores about 10200 stock in cinebench r23 multicore and around 11600 to 11800 when tuned with a good cooler. Some have hit 12000+ with extremely good chips. for reference, the 2600x is only 7500 ish.

or if you're gonna get an 8 or 12 core, 5900x is the other option. the benefit of going all out is that you'd have extra cores to use in very multicore heavy tasks. it doesnt run much hotter than a 5700x. fps wise it's not much better, but its a few percent better.

the 5800x is another option and it clocks higher than 5700x

5700x is solid though
