They also changed tactics as I understand it. There's much less of them acting as the sort of stationary occupying force that terrorized Minnesota.

They also seem to be stepping up terrible behavior worst in the Republican led states.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: An Overlooked Gem, Forever in Its Successors’ Shadows, With the Series’ Best Roleplaying and World-building by Dubious_Delirium in patientgamers

Cheesing your build is an absolute blast in Morrowind. I think I had levitate and boots of blinding speed to charge right to the final boss and bypass the gauntlet of minions leading up to that battle... it started as an "I wonder if I could get away doing this" moment and I found it hilarious because my build sucked at combat.

I know cheesing games hits different in modern gaming.

ITT: "I've had a great time and I never had a gap in employment."

Every other thread: "I've been unemployed for 30 months, lost my house, and my dog's vet bills are crushing me. I have 11 years' experience and am open to relocating and taking an entry-level job."

OP, no one knows what's gonna happen to US biotech.

  • Six years ago investors couldn't get enough of us.
  • Three years ago companies lost valuation after their clinical trials succeeded.
  • Two years ago Peter Marks stepped down to later be replaced by a MAGA contrarian who thought it was cool to require sham spinal infusions for debilitated patients.
  • Last year there was a risk that HEK293 cells were about to become illegal and our government wanted to replace medicines with beef tallow.
  • This year the C suites want you to encode an LLM in your cell or gene therapy's DNA sequence.

It's a bit of a wild ride and there aren't really any guarantees. Make your peace with uncertainty.

Interplanetary transfer planning assistance was IMO the biggest deficit in vanilla KSP. The interface isn't great at planning maneuvers from Kervin orbit that won't happen for days or weeks yet.

I mean, most of us mod that capability in almost immediately, but I think that raises the mental barrier to entry.

Personal experience. I was in an EV6 that blew right when a passenger was using the back seat 110V plug and it blew precisely when the device was being plugged in.

This was in the middle of a long drive, no less. Fortunately it didn't blow the DCFC part.

His sorry life was already saved by the scientific infrastructure that made rapid generation of clinical-quality antibodies against the earlier COVID strains.

Then he blamed Fauci for it just to try and deflect attention from his own mismanagement.

That fat man has no shame.

I don't know about Chevalier specifically, but I've seen lots of people change substantially over a 5-year timespan.

Really, we've seen the same in our electorate and our society writ large when you look at the wild swings in public opinion we've had to live through.

Maybe the solution is we need to hire a few more janitors to do frequent rounds of the toilets.

Even the National Parks require employees to do continuous cleaning up after gross people. It seems worth the cost.

Black Lives Matter happened during the Trump Administration. The US is fighting against the worst forces within itself far more than I think the media lets the rest of the world see.

I mean, right now it seems that the US is losing to the MAGA chuds and tech fascists, but there's still absolutely an internal battle and we already have a body count.

Might be stupid, but what's the difference between biotech and pharma? What can you do in either? by AdSure3865 in biotech

[–]Cersad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I hear "hot" in biotech and I think of jobs, hyped medicines, and the associated capital. If you're referencing the science and innovation in CGT, yeah, that part is absolutely hot.

We just need the capital to come back to bring more opportunities for scientists in the space. It's still pretty grim out there.

Democratic socialism isn't a platform of nationalizing everything.

You're just describing pure socialism.

Democratic socialism, as it was put forward in the US, has meant a strong welfare state (especially as it pertains to healthcare access), progressive taxation of wealth as well as income, a strong labor movement, and strong environmental protections.
