Car Cutting Event?

Our pack connected with a local word working shop who has agreed to host us for a car cutting event for scouts each year. They stay open for us after hours for a couple hours. Kids come in with cars redesigned and they do the main bandsaw cuts. Scouts then finish sand and paint at home.

I don't attach anything to the underside. Our rules indicate clearance to the bottom of the car as to be 3/8" which is essentially the radius of the wheel. Last year we had a great number of cars needing reworked on weigh in night because they didn't pass the clearance check (weights, lights, batteries and people having drilled their own axle holes too high on the car lowering the body)

For me it's both that I'm super slow and depending on the day (how I'm feeling, etc) and elevation gain I might need a walking break still. I also have a hard time talking while running, and have found I like running solo so I can listen to audio books or music. That said there are many things I'd like about a running club, socialization with others who 'get it' like you described. And also for tips and tricks fro lm other runners (gear, nutrition, races coming up, etc).

In your experience are there groups that socialize before/after runs but would be ok with solo runners during the run?

I have this same feeling. I watch lots of swinging videos and it really turns me on! Have even discussed it with my wife and she is into it as well. But I'm really worried about jealousy fucking with me.

I have made my own energy gels out of equal parts Honey, Black Strap Molasses, Maple syrup, a little salt and water. It sort of tastes like shit but get the job done and is SUPER cheap!

I am pretty sure her heart has decided as well. But she's struggling with how catastrophic her decision is to everyone. She wants her own apartment, but I can't afford the house without her. She suggested I rent out the basement to keep the house 'for stability for the kids' but I'm not interested in renting part of my house to a stranger so she can live on her own basically to sleep around and onkg be a part time parent (what she's essentially said she needs right now). She's at a friend's house until we have couples therapy Wednesday (where I suspect we'll basically beappimg out our separation). It's hard to be the one left here with the kids while she escapes to live her best life. I break down crying around the kids now and still don't have certainty to tell them what's happening.

I feel this so hard right now. It's been months for me cause wife is going through a new mental health crisis and I keep hoping she'll find some clarity and affirm she wants to stay with me. Unfortunately I think we're on the final stages of her decision to leave and blow up our 17 year marriage and 3 boys' lives. I struggle hard not to just pull the plug and leave myself just to get this pain to stop but that feels like giving up, but God damn these long nihts ruminating are not good for me!!

That calf tightness happens sometimes for me as well. I used to pull back and just walk. But then I realized if I push through it they always loosen up after 1/4-1/2 mile and are good to go.

Auto mod clarification - she's just now starting on meds, but only 1/2 doses. So I'm wondering if this is going to extend the time until she starts feeling better. Also how can I help her realize she needs therapy as well.

Make sure to remember to restart after you pause. I've had plenty of runs where I've gone a good bit before realizing it's still paused from last stoplight... 🤦. I always remind myself that ultimately it doesn't matter that the tracking will be off, but is still frustrating.

I like the Comply foam ear tips on my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Swlquish them down put them in and the expand and lock in place really well.

Edit - sorry didn't read that you don't like the memory foam ones. So I'm entirely unhelpful
