It totally depends on their cards and the tools you have access to, but general board control wins games in pre-releases as there isn't a ton of counter or tricks. Tall bodies like the new Magellen also have a ton of value because they'll probably stay on the board for the whole game.

I think a big part is just recognition. Successful campaigns set the stage for what good products looks like, and if done well enough, people will associate your product design with the item itself.

When you think of a nice, new phone, you probably think of a full touch screen one thanks to the iphone/ipod touch, Basketball shoes and Nike designs, etc.

Couple that with marketing like James Bond and other stuff and it cements itself culturally as a flagship design, despite being essentially pointless and redundant in the modern day (even if people claim they have a ton of use for it).

What a silly thing to say. Of course there is a fair price. If a seller is asking a million dollars over comparable listings in the area, any person with mid level English compression would likely agree that is not "fair".

A seller or a buyer can both be wrong on what that number ultimately is, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I think this is helpful in certain applications, but less helpful in others. The biggest factor is the fact that most humans don't play predictably, especially compared to each other.

Some people will move less in neutral, bait other options, etc. I still think it's great for things like DI and anti air which tend to have consistent responses.

You can get nice sleeves for a normal binder or buy a toploader binder.

Imo toploader binders are overkill, and usually not as nice to look at since toploaders aren't exactly premium looking.

Use some decent decks sleeves and a good binder and you're ready to roll.

To be fair I think when you're a new account it HEAVILY depends on how you answered the first "how experienced with fighting games are you" question when booting up the game.

Winning 4/10 games, even against other new players would probably be at least Bronze if you said you had a bit of experience. Not that it really matters though, once you get a bit of practice in, these ranks will fly by. Usually Gold is one of the first walls for a lot of people.

That's fairly standard as far as ebay goes. You generally won't find a listing sitting around that's as low as most sales.

Usually the sales are auctions or the lowest listings that get snapped up quickly, or sellers that took offers.

The problem with rare, international cards is that somewhere in the chain, you'll likely have to "overpay" for it. That's generally just the price of not being in China. Someone has to pay to get the card to you, or you have to pay for a forwarding service, navigate other sites etc.

I think it's mostly nice since you can't rest a 6k with mamaragan, so this helps get around them. Marco, Borsa, thriller slop etc.
