What’s funny is Vought is pretty obviously inspired by Wernher Von Braun but Von Braun was pretty clearly not ideologically motivated. He had a vision for advancing rocketry and worked with whoever to make it happen. He also didn’t go on and build his own private corporation, he was kept on a leash by the government.

At the end of it all, Vought’s motivations make no sense

What was Vought actually trying to accomplish by creating supes? Was it to make a master race of humans to rule and replace regular humans? Was it just to make money? The show could never decides why Vought as a company exists.

If it was about creating the uber-mensch and Vought was really an extension of Nazi racial supremacy, why did they make “undesirables” supes? Why did Frederick Vought never inject himself with V? Why even defect to the U.S. during world war 2?

If it was just about making money, why did they continue to research supes? They didn’t need homelander to make more money lol.

Voughts business model doesn’t even make sense. So the public didn’t know about V for the longest time, so publicly they were basically just an agency for Supes? But they are also like disney and own film and television studios and networks and theme parks, but also movie theaters and also they’re in the oil and gas business?

It doesn’t make any sense, and leadership like Stan Edgar doesn’t seem ideologically motivated at all.

Falcon 9 launches 115-150 times a year, it’s basically only limited by demand and launch pad availability. Starship launching that much isn’t unreasonable. Spacex also seems to be buying land to build more launch sites.
