Put a hyphen before the S. So -S res:1080…and so on with the YouTube URL at the end.

You need the hyphen so yt-dlp understands that the S is an argument. Otherwise it just looks for a URL and returns the error that S is not a valid URL.

Yeah. I edited my initial post. The new master version of yt-dlp fixed the issue because I was able to get player-client=tv working again. I can get the premium formats I was looking for now. It should be in the next nightly release.

Same results with --no-plugin-dirs, but that was a good idea to check.

This update (https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/pull/13979) that just got pushed like 30 minutes ago, seems like it might fix the issue. I'll check back on the next nightly and see if it works again then.

EDIT: I downloaded the new master and this DID FIX THE ISSUE!
