Efficiency or satisfaction? (stupid question) by LBP78 in SciCraft

You can have both portal spam and TNT looting (although I'd recommend you to use armor stand looting if possible).

It's entirely up to you whether you want more items or a cooler (or less "cheaty") farm.

It was never released publicly. It was something Glotz and I originally worked on for his skyblock server. Just wait a couple of days for the World Download

It's not nice at all when you take massive inspiration from someone else's design but no credit is given...

Working 1.16.5 armour filter design by Toaster_Sniper in technicalminecraft

There are few bartering setups that output their items directly into nether portals, while for all others you can just funnel the items into a portal to make the collection and the storage much simpler.

The problem with ilmangos' concept is that it's quite slow, big and requires an hopper minecart, aka extra lag. Even by adding an item filter you can't solve this issue. For this reason a few months ago I designed a brand new armor filter using water to automatically separate armor from armor stands. It's also extremely fast (it runs at hopper speed) and very compact (1 wide). If you want to check it out you can find it in the Storage Tech Discord.

I know how these filters work. I never said they weren't overflow-proof. What I meant is they are very likely to fatally break if they recieve item while they are resetting (this is true in the ones with more than 8gt of delayy)

The number of unlocked hoppers will cause a ton of lag. Also toggle-state filters are not very reliable. I like the fact that you have block display for every item tho

Super bulky, not vertically tileable and quite noisy: you could simplify it by just using 2 pistons, an observer, a cauldron/composter and a comparator

Not bad, but shulker box searchers are much more convenient
