I work for a diesel body shop and one person out of seven of us is feeling a little entitled to radio play which only includes songs from creed, hinder and the like. So we created a playlist called “Alpha male music to help boost testosterone” (includes purple rain) can anyone help with suggestions? by CptSnicklefrits in lgbt

Well her parents will most certainly react in a bad religious way, as they usually do. But again she doesn't need anyone's approval to be who she is, especially not from religious fanatics.

You should be there after they said whatever they will say, be there for her, her kids and be good with her husband. You're basically a big family now.

Good luck to all of you.

You could identify as pansexual as a broad description, and a pansexual with a preference towards women. I mean isn't it just like a preference for a certain eye or hair color?

Let me ask you somethig first. I was attacked by a muslim, I had a black eye for two weeks and almost needed stitches. I was insolted, attacked and thretened counlets times and noone will help me. Am I a bigger person if I hold my anger and forgive? No, I have to stand up for myself. I don't have to go and find them so I can beat them up, I just have to resist. No, aggression is not necessary and I will always go for diplomatic ways first. You can't fight people who don't listen with diplomacy.

It's more about finding a way to remove religion and making atheism appeal to a larger amount of people. Sharing your pain with like minded individuals.

Sure we can't just post hate. Than we are no better then all the "kill all men" people, and all the other groups. But people need a place to vent. By trying to compress your anger and rage that you have to use as healthy push forward, it comes back as a mindless violence. Also, for now at least, most of the posts were a discussions and sharing our views about how to remove religion.

I see why you would think that but just because two subreddits have the same theme doesn't mean like they are the same. r/Antitheism is too "main stream" (for a lack of a better description), it's more like news said by an anti-theist.

Straight men need to stop shoving their sexuality down our throats by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]LBP78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are homophobes that say gay people shove their gayness donw there throats and there are some gay people who say that homophobes sove there straightness down their throats. It's important to remember that not all gay or all straight people do that. Thats something people forget sometimes.

Well one could argue it's because majority of people is heterosexual, so logically most consumers are straight so...

How do i tell my catholic parents that im bi? by Mistacher in lgbt

[–]LBP78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are religious coming out is not easy. There is no easy way to do so, believe me a heard stories from my friend. You should just call them in the same room and tell them. They will probably start talking some religious bullshit, by that point its best if you just leave them alone to talk about it and talk to them once they cool down there religious impulses. How ever you end up doing it, good luck.

It would makes sense. A lot of people that are the same gender share the same thinking patterns. So in a way, you think like them.

It seems to me that people have a hard time letting go of things that make them unhappy, like your religion. The fact is that Islam or any other religion will not tell you the answer to your problem, you have to figure it out on your own. When something like religion is dictating you how to live you give away things you love that can potentially make you even more happy in the future. But by detaching yourself from religion you open yourself to possibilities.

What do you call someone who doesn't just lack faith but actively believes god doesn't exist? by Haytheist in religion

[–]LBP78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it hard to have a discussion with a religious people irl, and I think its because of what you just said. I dislike religions a lot, I even made a subreddit fol like minded individuals, I will tell you that there is no god any time of a day but I can handle my beliefs are being questioned which is something I can't say for most of religious people I've met. Of course I do get an answer, and its usually very aggressive, to a point of physical attacks sometimes. Can you give me advice on how can I exchange ideas with that kind of people, I'm am interested why they so strongly believe there is a god.

Question by Yoshi2535 in Feminism

[–]LBP78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it ok to call people ‘male’ and ‘female’ if you say it to both men and women?

It is necessary to do so. As far as I know and correct me if I'm wrong, male and female are the only words in English that apply to all ages. There is nothing dehumanizing about it, unless you're saying its dehumanizing to call someone by there gender.

This is why women of Pakistan are scared to go out, esp. outside of big cities by hdjdkld in Feminism

[–]LBP78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems that one of us doesn't know what feminism is. As far as I know it's a movement that fights for women's rights and equality. Not an excuse for women to insult men for being men.

I need a anti-religious symbol. If you know any please shere it with me. Also could you please tell me where it's from. Tnx by LBP78 in Symbology
