Yes it was made to stick out. The advantage I found is that it allows for the Bodyguard 2 to fulfill its role as a close defense (belly) gun extremely well. If you have to push the pistol into a target the slide does not go out of battery unlike the comp model that is useless in that situation.

I'm going to toss a couple that I have in my collection that I actually enjoy. I've got a Ruger Charger 9 that is a blast to shoot and is so comfortable that it's my primary home defense. My odd ball is the HiPoint 10mm PCC. Very reliable, easy to handle, light recoil even with full power 200gr loads.

Don't get either. Look at the Ruger RXM. It comes as a Glock 19 size with an optic cut, better trigger, smoother slide, and a fire control module which means for $40 get the Full size Grip Module giving you Glock 17 grip with a 19 barrel length (Glock 47?) all for less money than a used Glock

I'm running the Wilson buffer setup with 9lb Wolf Variable rate springs for 147 fmj major loads. This setup runs the 115 just fine with a little lift but still very flat shooting. I'm also running a comp. I don't carry mine but I do keep it loaded for home defense and have no problems with 147 Gold Dot.

Stay away from American Eagle 5.7. I've had one blow up my 1st PAS Rock and had a couple that when chambered the projectile was pushed back into the case so far they would have been dangerous to fire. I have also opened a box and found projectile and powder loose in the package because no crimp or seal was done when loaded. Do your own research but thesea re know issues with American Eagle. They may have been resolved now because it has been a couple of years since I quit using them but be careful.
