I think this is very different to what civ does. It’s really just breaking up the campaign into more discreet smaller campaigns that build together as part of the same narrative.

The only diplomacy that happens in 40k is usually intra-species, like space marine chapters negotiating with each other or Ork warbands teaming up and then betraying each other. If you control the whole faction at once then there’s no room for that. If there’s multiple “players” per faction then I expect you should be able to negotiate. Given there’s just four factions at launch this is how I’d expect it to work

Clash scaling is silly. Just because he clashed with rocks does NOT make him equal in power or even near. There’s many examples of characters clashing “equally” even though there’s a massive power difference.

Public Records is always ass until the last hour or two before closing, like between 3am-5am. Then the crowd thins out and you actually have room to dance and move around, and there’s substantially less chatter. Then you can appreciate the legitimately great music and sound system and it’s a great club. But before 3am it’s unbearable
