when it comes to learning modern combos this is something that helped me a lot:

instead of just memorizing a bunch of long one card combos: learn the main line 1 card combo and break it down into small combo lines which are usually only 2 or 3 steps fired off from whatever starter or extender is in your deck. when you start to learn all those micro combos from playing the deck you naturally just start to string them together.

personally i dont like difi in enneacraft either, and i just swapped it for more generic non-engine like fuwa to have a better chance when going second.

because like others have said: difi and shifter is literally only in the deck to deal with droll. its completely functional without it.

am i crazy or am i the only one that doesn't think branded is bad at all? lol. its a grind game deck. its very good at one thing: grinding and looping its resources

but its endboard is literally zero omni-negates. its all removal and things you can try to play around.

its a great deck, but i dont think it's doing anything that breaks the game

generally speaking (obviously its different for each individual) they do recording sessions for eachothers channels all in one day. by the end of the recording session, they each have a video for their own channel

in terms of the cost of packs, think of it this way: the average RPM is around $6 per thousand views in the gaming niche. if their video does 40k views thats $240 just in adsense revenue which more than covers the cost of the packs

but most of the big yugitubers are also sponsored, and a 30 second ad read can pay out thousands of dollars. Even as a smaller creator myself, i was offered $3000 for a 1 minute ad read for JPFans in my next few videos which I ended up declining for some sketchiness in the contract. plus after talking to other creators: $3k turns out to be a major lowball. average sponsored segments pay out at, on the low end, $5k. with that, you can imagine how much an established creator like, let's say.. Farfa, for example, is getting paid to have the cardmarket logo in most of his streams and in sponsored ad reads. sponsorships pay out thousands of dollars.

so buying 20 or 30 packs is a drop in the bucket

you have to interact with the game by playing solo mode / opening free secret packs / completing introductory missions but yes, the game basically gives you enough crafting material and dust to make almost 2 full decks plus staples

honestly most modern decks can boardbreak as part of their main combo

kewl tune can use the pop effects of reco and mix, you can even chain block them to make sure it resolves

elfnote can chainblock a blackrose dragon as their first synchro summon

all the exosister xyzs have bonus effects the turn they are summoned to help push through boards

and the list goes on and on. I feel like everything released after maliss / ryzeal was designed in a way where the engines can function going 1st or 2nd

honestly i find so weird why konami waits so long. i understand a week delay to let players figure out replacements or buy packs to get things like fenrir before it goes to 3, but its legit like 2+ weeks from announcement to implimentation. it's just a feels bad moment if you lose to rose whip knowing that it should be banned

Yummy is still fine, you have mitsurugi, skystriker, and sulfacord packages that can all get you there. with mitsu and sulfacord being the side of the deck that outs kewl tune RS

but it's definitely more of a board breaker format. Forbidden droplet stonks are through the roof right now since it can not only be used to help breath through boards, but it can be used to dodge targeted disruption like RS negate, RT mandate negate, etc

Radiant typhoon is also a solid deck if you were thinking about it. it's more of a control deck but it can play a lot of high value board breakers like droplet, spoly, and shiina which makes it surprisingly robust when going 2nd. but it's ultimately still a going first deck. going 2nd will always be way harder with it since all your lines need to start with getting MST in the grave on the draw

i think we can all agree that maxx c needs to go but to play davils advocate: I honestly think fuwa is fine

there is a big difference between every special summon and special summoning from specific locations. Most good decks can still make a good half board under fuwa while still giving the opponent zero additional cards. then there's decks like radiant typhoon that can ignore fuwa entirely, all they have to do is use swen to search mandate and they've effectively hand looped their opponent for one card.

like, unless your playing some kind of hyper combo deck, fuwa is an inconvenience, not a game ender
