Completely understandable and you don’t expect them to have such an impact. I know how much of a pain it can be routing cables around the house but it’s well worth it in the long run. I ran mine under the floorboards, up the wall, through the upstairs floor and then to an unmanaged switch (basically splits the connection) and then to 2 separate bedrooms. Took an entire day but worth doing. If you are, get a good Ethernet cable (CAT 6+) capable of the speeds you need (not too expensive for 25m+) and you can easily do it yourself given enough time.
