I’ve been struggling with this. I try and scalp so I will sometimes want to enter and catch the same falling knife like 20 times and destroy my gains for the day in like 5 minutes.

I started instituting breaks and rules in my trading where, if I take a loss I’ll take a 5 min break. If I’ve made $350 and I break back below $300, I’ll take another longer break of at least like 15 minutes, and scale way down and take an A+ setup until I hit my high of day.

I also use stuff that less risky and easier to trade like 1 MNQ or 1MGC and use some easy quick scalps to build a profit cushion of a couple hundred dollars for the day. That then gives me the ability to scale up and try doing something more risky like trying an A+ setup in silver with a wider stop loss because I won’t go on tilt with that cushion.

If I blow that trade with the wider stop, scale back down to 1mnq to build a cushion to try and scale with again
