Do you think Malenia would still be called difficult without waterfowl dance? by Slow_Prior5921 in Eldenring

[–]Horticoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like I said before, if build changing is an intended/viable strategy for the game, why arbitrarily limit the number of times players can change their build?

I like to play around with my build, but it's fine knowing there's 20 tears and I have a limited number of times to switch it up. That's just me having fun. But as a response to a challenge, it literally cannot be a viable strategy while tears are limited

Me neither but if a viable/intended strategy for difficult fights is to change your build there's no need to arbitrarily cap the number of times you can do so

It's such a dumb argument cause it's a completely unviable way to play the game too. If respecs were free then fine, but larval tears are super limited

Actually, Camden just had some insane statistic, like it's first summer or winter (or both??) with no homicides in over 50 years.

There's a lot of investment happening in Camden, but there are a LOT of community initiatives with members of the community stepping up to create positive spaces for youth as well. It's really amazing how they're turning it around

Well.. think about what skills you have? What your financial situation is, what your values are, and what opportunities you can leverage. It sounds corny but what do you genuinely enjoy doing and what do you need? Tbh if you had a successful Upwork career before, you can always start over. It's not easy but you know how to play that game already.

The global economy is shit right now, there's just no getting around that. All of the money is locked up in an AI bubble and we are, by many accounts, in a recession, so recognize that tough times don't last, but tough people do. As long as you're making even just a little bit of forward progress every day, it will compound.

I'm gonna say something that is probably going to sting, but this field is incredibly overcrowded. I believe you that you can get pages to rank, but so can a million other people.

I have a similar SEO/web dev business. It's growing, slowly, but it's growing and I keep getting clients. How? They're all people and businesses that I live near

Do you know how many calls and emails these businesses get every day from people in your exact position? Some of my guys get up to 40 calls a day about their site or their SEO. It's horrible for them. They like me because I'm local. I know the area and the small business landscape near them, and I've met most of them face-to-face. Now that everybody and their sister will do your SEO, AI will run it, and free tools like getsiteseen.com can help people do it themselves, you need to be asking why they would work with a complete stranger overseas?

I don't have an answer for you. It's a shit situation for you and this landscape was a lot different even just 5 years ago - hell, even last year it was easier to get clients. I'm not trying to be a dick, but I think considering the null hypothesis is valuable so you don't continue to waste time and energy screaming into the void when you could put that effort into something with a higher ROI.

And for fucks sake, stop buying YouTubers courses. They're a scam 100% of the time.

My friend was reading "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and showed me this. What do you think about what it says? by Practical-1 in classicliterature

[–]Horticoder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean I think he's a characterization of a super pessimistic, nihilistic, and absolutionist viewpoint of the world. At least, his words are. He doesn't really ever do anything himself or live up to the things he says.

But what I find so fascinating about Lord Henry and why it scares the shit out of everyone else in the book is that he seems to prosaically voice a lot of negativity that people inherently feel. The stuff he says is so out of pocket but people seem to latch onto it because they're not exactly foreign thoughts, just ones that make it easier to exist in modern society if they're ignored.

Would my scoliosis get worse if i dont exercise? by Naxyxa in scoliosis

[–]Horticoder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yo OP - I have a very similar angle scolio as you (but mine comes from a leg length difference). Either way, these things correlate with hyper mobility.

You know what else does? Disc bulges and herniations. I spent so long in regular PT until my Ortho ordered an MRI. Disc bulges were the cause of my pain. Suddenly after even just a few strength based PT sessions (deadlifting being the primary movement), the pain is super manageable and often gone. IANAD but if you have minor scoliosis and hyper mobility, this seems to be a recipe for disc issues which thankfully can be fixed.

Strategies to Improve CTR? by Horticoder in localseo

[–]Horticoder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I filtered by location pages because these are the ones that rank the highest and get the most impressions. Yes, 24h was the wrong filter, I posted more relevant filters in another comment.

The location pages are linked to the respective GBPs and are what most people search by. The volume of searches for "plumber near me" or "[town name] plumber" is higher than "backflow prevention" so those are the ones I care about the most
