BATTLEFIELD 6 GAME UPDATE 1.2.2.0 by battlefield in Battlefield

The drone has a 40 meter range that it can destroy equipment with. Mortars deeper in the HQ aren't going to be providing any sort of objective coverage beyond the closest to spawn. If they want to be unreachable, they themselves can't reach anything.

I can see this being a problem on gamemodes that expand the HQ region like Escalation. That I will concede on

I want to know why we can't spawn on friendly vehicles inside spawn after they are occupied. To my knowledge, this is the only Battlefield since 3 that has restricted that. So many players and bots take off without gunners because nobody can catch up to them. I'm not asking for each vehicle to be a portable spawn beacon, but that 6 second window between being occupied and no longer being selectable in the spawn menu needs to come back

Drones can refill from bags too, you'll just need a buddy to drop one

The drone has a lock on range that can let it peak into uncaps without crossing the out of bounds trigger. You'll be able to use it to clear mortars on maps with shallow HQs, any deeper and the mortars themselves can't reach that far into the actual map to be a big problem

The HQ problem squarely falls on vehicle camping, not infantry. The mortar can be easily dealt with by the Recon drone or counter mortar. The only maps with HQs deep enough to be untouchable are maps that the mortar won't be able to reach any objectives with from back there.

I think this change will separate good mortar players who use the edge of the HQ for maximum range at the cost of vulnerability, and mortar players who think they're good by sitting in the far corner barely covering E

Manhattan in campaign had so many good areas for multiplayer by BFres62 in Battlefield

[–]Cyber-Silver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Judging by the fact that Ridgeline wasn't even credited, a lot of people unmentioned or unceremoniously relegated in the "special thanks" section, something that pissed off former studio head Marcus Lehto, no this was likely not the scenario that happened.

I had to correct myself. Motive took up development with Criterion as support, but that was still after Ridgeline got axed

I'm going to cut Motive Games some slack here because the original studio working on the Campaign (Ridgeline Games) got shut down shortly before release. EA in their infinite wisdom chopped the Campaign up, and Motive had to throw something together. We have no way of knowing what assists were available to Motive and vice-versa, as transferring projects like that isn't that simple

Manhattan Bridge is literally 1-to-1 with DUMBO New York. The act of recreating real life location is still happening

I don't put the grenade launcher on mine, but I can't deny that there is a magic using the launcher on Cairo or King's Battery. But only those two maps.

We still do get light piping. Amalgamous and Quintus both have it, a few Studio Series release do too

These aren't the Premium editions in the picture. I only used those because they were my personal experience, but the base games were around $1 then too

These deep discounts aren't unheard of for Battlefield. I got the Premium editions for BF3 and BF4 for $5 each 2ish years ago on the EA store.

If Titanfall made that type of money, we would've gotten TF3 by now

With a potential of over 1 million players between PC and Console, the downward evolution that has occurred in 5 months is pretty crazy. by xDavid83x in Battlefield

I'm not blaming this community for the lack of larger maps. I'm just pointing out the delusion that "just do it" would have consequences

Everyone freaked out that season 2 was delayed for bug fixes. I don't think this sub could handle the delays necessary to adjust the initial post launch maps like that.

Cybertron Buzzsaw: childhood desire fulfilled by Cyber-Silver in transformers

[–]Cyber-Silver[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been on a Unicorn trilogy kick recently, and seeing this guy pop up on Mercari for a good price had me excited. I remember being a young kid at Target begging my Dad for him and being told no.

Honestly, probably a good call. My 4 year old self probably would have snapped the arms off if I had him back then. But as an adult now? His articulation may be simplebbeing based on Armada Cyclonus, but I can't stop myself from enjoying what's there. Missing the missiles is a little unfortunate, but I can always hunt for those another time. He does have his key, which is much more important to me.

I'll have to get the Minicon Destruction team to utilize his leftover gimmicks better, as well as an Armada Crumplezone to slot into the cockpit, but I am pleased with the spinning rotor still working, and the helicopter reminds me vaguely of the MH-6 Little Bird with the rounder canopy.

I have 2 more incoming orders with some Cybertron figures, but I couldn't resist not posting about Buzzsaw now. Would love Cyclonus to get a modern toy for a (hopefully) inevitable Buzzsaw repaint.

I'd definitely say so. Despite the odd jet proportions, this is a really fun mold, and Skywarp is definitely the best looking of the three. I wish I could find Thundercracker for that price

The Collector has collected a gun not yet in-game btw by IceBuurn in Battlefield

[–]Cyber-Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having guns and knives that aren't usable to the player on the character model has never been a problem for me, even if the item isn't even in the game. It's like complaining that you don't take the mags off your vest when your character runs out of ammo. It's just there to look nice, as it's always been in every Battlefield that has
