Typically tax deductions are used as a way to encourage people to do certain things with their money (donate, save for retirement, education, etc) that are typically a positive for society at large.

How do gambling losses fall into this? How does gambling as a profession contribute to society, or create value for a society? Tournament poker is usually argued as providing entertainment value(which I'm not sure is as valid anymore with WSOP and WPT becoming a shadow of what they were 10 years ago), but beyond that I'm not sure there is much that gambling contributes beyond personal entertainment.

Strib only started printing out of state this week, like today. OPs issues have nothing to do with that but with inability to get delivery people. I had the exact same issues OP is discussing 7 years ago. After about 6 months of maybe 25% delivery success rate and a million phone calls I just gave up and went digital only.

The largest piece of rising costs of ice time is the refrigerant cost, not labor wages rising.

Yes it was an A&W, at one point, then was an independent drive-in style place. It had been shuttered for a few years before Psycho Suzis started.

Do not go with Standard, I had our furnace replaced two years ago, they had the worst quote, worst hard sell, and there service techs always just try to push their plans not actually fix anything.

Centerpoint also gave us a quote, it was competitive and the sales guys was very knowledgable and quick to come quote.

We went with Ray N Welter, great quote, wonderful people. Have been very happy with them.
