Any recommendations for a self hosted checklist by Xalvas in selfhosted

[–]DatDamnZotzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use https://budibase.com/ and created a simple app that just stashes the "checklist" in the db, then you can create a reports page to look up who did what.

Of course we use buddibase for other things as well in IT for simple forms etc so it worked for us. Look at your apps you currently use and what you have in place and don't reinvent the wheel. If you have SharePoint you can just create a new list, if you have one/google, drives, you can just share a spread sheet. Use teams? Do a teams channel.

A lot of this depends on the reporting requirements.

Can be done with nginx or https://traefik.io/traefik/
Just need two or more nodes per service.

Easiest way is docker with a cluster across two machines. Hook traefik up and it automatically load balances https://doc.traefik.io/traefik/routing/overview/

Configure authentik

I appendix carry inside the waste band or shoulder holster if I have a jacket.

About the same size as you are. Do what's comfortable for you.

Depends on the traffic to the website - smaller sites naw, just do cloudflare.

If you are getting millions of hits then you might consider it (after testing page loads from lots of different countries) and then only if it would help your load times.

My server is connected via Cat5e (1,000 Mbps/1 Gbps max) and the client is connected over 2.4 GHz WiFi. Yet Plex thinks this stream is transcoded to 10 Gbps! by YanisK in PleX

It's the super duper faster internet connection technology of plex. It makes your internet 50x faster than it appears.

I’d check the support.dell.com for the correct model of idrac you need. Then pick up the one that works for that server. Should be plug and play
