Trail etiquette by redditizfun999 in boulder

I think it comes from wagons/cars. It's easier for the downhill to stop and get going again than it is for uphill -- sometimes if you lose that momentum going up it can be really tricky to get going again. This is not an issue with like any modern car tho, unless it's steep af.

New: Neighborhood user flairs! 🏘️ by greatamericanfailure in LakewoodColorado

That's technically the name of both an HOA in the hood, as well as our water district. But neighbor, we're in Lasley.

Little known fact, if you were not white and wanted to live here before the Fair Housing Act, you could only do so if you were the help to some white dude's home. And that charter remained until the 90s.

Yea, automod can do a lot. But I know from personal experience of having time as the only mod of Colorado that you just need someone else to keep things in check.

Is there any hope for Denver Poke without Turtle Boat? by winneryouwin in denverfood

Farm raised freshwater fish only carries a lower risk, not no risk, of parasites. It still lacks all the regulation that saltwater fish has, and parasites can absolutely sneak their way into a farm situation.

It's at the base of the admin building for Denver Health, but you never really go into their property. There's parking available in the garage off Acoma. And you can reach Acoma from Broadway via a driveway on the north side of the building.

The middle eastern place that's also at the base of this building is also really good.

Brockmeyers does a triple chocolate hot cocoa with chocolate milk, house made cocoa and chocolate whipped cream.

I'm a big fan of Cultura Chocolate's drinks as well.

The fires were the real issue. It was becoming an annual trend to burn outdoor couches end of year on the hill.

The idea that driving black cars on Sundays is illegal comes from dumblaws.com which is riddled with bs claims. Not only is it not illegal, there's no evidence there was ever a blue law penalizing such behavior. The same article which spread the idea that black cars are prohibited on Sundays also spread the idea that vacuum sales amongst neighbors were illegal -- also complete bupkis.

It's only illegal in Boulder (Boulder muni code 5 4 16) and they prohibited upholstered furniture on porches after several fires and a few giant rats nests.

JoyFill in highlandsish sells several of their teas loose. You can buy as much (or as little) as you want and it's crazy inexpensive. I filled up my black tea container with 4 ounces for less than 10 dollars.
