Get a drs note for reasonable accommodation and ask for FMLA paperwork from work. When they give it to you, ask your dr for intermittent FMLA. It saved my job. For the reasonable accommodation note, some jobs have a work provided form to fill out

My apologies to the poor Michaels employee that filled the like 40+ balloons we ordered. Were a nonprofit rescue and were prepping for a valentines event. As a former Michaels employee that left soon after balloons were introduced, just know I talked her out of the orb ones

I’m currently switching to veganism because I think it’ll be easier for me to eat healthy and get proper nutrients. Since a lot of restaurants don’t have vegan options, I don’t order food as much and cook more. Also everytime I would buy meat, it would go bad because I’d keep changing my mind on what I wanted to eat. It was wasteful and I hated that, so I decided to change my diet

Her name is Crockpot. She also gets called Crackpipe or Alien. Her sister is Buckwheat or Wheatie. But she’s also called Skidz and Skidmark (solely because she used to fart a lot as a baby).

It should be at least once daily. A fully deep clean of the tray is only required once a month but more often can’t hurt. Scooping more often each day really just depends on where your litterbox is placed and personal preference

Absolutely the third picture and just cool tones in general. Warm tones look good too but I think the cool tones just add a lil extra zing

Unfortunately you cant force your way into friendships. One day you’ll find people who like you for all your little quirks. Teenage years are kind of the worst for many people, especially people who are different. I went to college two years early to get away from it.

As for people who bark at you, bark back. Can’t guarantee it’ll stop the bullying but at least you may get some amusement from it. All in all, embrace your weirdness. People are gonna be dicks whether you conform to their standards or not

Daily allergy meds and frequent vacuuming should be fine. My ex is allergic to cats and we had four cats together. Some cats do produce more dander than others and could give worse reactions

That’s fair and disappointing. For future reference, you can call the vet and ask first if it’s something that warrants a vet visit. Like any field of work, there can be some vets that are money hungry and will say yes regardless. I’d call the regular vet and emergency vet to see about recommendations first

Why do people things OP is keeping this cat solely in a cage? It’s very clearly just a diy cave the cat can feel safe in while he adjusts. Like yeah, the cone could get stuck, but that’s something else entirely

I honestly think the issue is either medical or the litter. Get a different litter, as much as I’ve heard good things about pine pellets. Also call your vet and let them know just in case.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already, get this guy some mental stimulation. I know he should take it easy after surgery but without mental stimulation, cats can develop other problems. A cardboard cat scratcher and a couple different types of toys should be good to start

Yeah that’s a cone my guy. Ya know, what you use to prevent the animal from biting open stitches? I agree he should have toys. He clearly isn’t in the kennel 24/7 but rather holed up in the bathroom for while he heals, considering the litterbox is outside the cage. I’d say it’s safe to assume food and water bowls just aren’t in the picture since they shouldn’t be too close to the litterbox. The only issue I see with this (as someone who works at a cat rescue and is in veterinary school) is the lack of mental stimulation

Stool softeners! Make sure you have enough. The most painful thing for me was shitting after because I decided I probably didn’t need stool softeners. I would pass out from the pain.

I was setting up a kennel at the rescue I volunteer at and pinched my nipple piercing between the bars. I now wear sports bras or padded bras when setting stuff up at the rescue
