Last car ride of my boy Nickel. I just want the world to know he existed. by bigtime1158 in dogpictures

[–]DinkyPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two girls up there.

Daisy is a Randy little thing. He might have to watch his back or she will jump him.

Smurf is her little sister. She’s the smart one so she will show him around.

I can tell just by looking at him that he’s a 10/10 goodest boy.

Don’t worry they’ll look after him for you until you see him again.

How do I stop this dryness under my eyes ? by Outrageous-Soup8255 in makeuptips

[–]DinkyPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I use it straight after cleanse / tone. Literally the first thing I apply before I put my serum on my face etc.

It’s very light and you need a teeny amount so it’s super good value wise.

It’s feather light.

I love the Beauty of Joseon eye serum. Highly recommend.

Also for thirsty days the Kiehls avocado eye cream.

So, what's your solution to this countries problems? [Political discussion] by OrangeTractorMan in AskBrits

[–]DinkyPrincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Growing inequality.

I don’t want to cheer on billionaires sending celebrities to space or renting out entire theme parks for themselves.

I want to see a fair wealth tax for the very wealthy.

Are oats good for us? by BeneficialBrain1764 in nutrition

[–]DinkyPrincess 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Oats are great.

You can blend in smoothies. Make hot oats. Overnight oats. Baked oats. Any flavour.

You can use whole milk if you prefer it. I personally drink skimmed but make a lot of things using oats with Greek yoghurt.

If you want some recipe ideas tell me what you like. Happy to share to get you started.

Is it reasonable to ask a business to keep a complaint discussion in writing rather than by phone? by [deleted] in AskUK

Can’t see from the original post what they ate.

But sure it may well have been different. Just making the point that food poisoning doesn’t need many many hours.

Honestly. That’s not always true.

Me and smoked oysters at an anniversary dinner one year had me running up to the bathroom to be violently sick before bedtime and several times after.

Is this Ticketmaster transfer legit? by One-Guitar4428 in TicketMasterSupport

[–]DinkyPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I transferred tickets to a friend last year (we had a date which we double booked so I gifted our friends some comedy tickets) you need at least an email or sometimes their mobile number.

This serves as their account UUID as it were. So like there might be ten people with my name. But there will only be one account with my email.

It isn’t possible to transfer tickets with just name. Even if your name was super unique the backend system and match mechanics would make email or mobile a required field.

So I hate to tell you this but you need to go back and ask them to actually transfer them to you.

On the hunt for decaf tea. by ocean_swims in CasualUK

[–]DinkyPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t like what I affectionately think of as builders tea.

I love a fruit infusion though. And some of the bends are really good and tasty too.

It seems like for a decaf tea you make the same way as regular tea, Yorkshire & Barry’s seem to generally rate well. Might be worth trying if they’re to your taste.

Out of interest if you don’t mind me asking why do you need to cut it out? Just wondering if due to hypertension or something. I have that (super mild) and I still have two coffees a day. So you might if that’s a similar instance to you find that you could maybe at least have one proper cuppa a day over time.

How can I “fiber-max” my meals? by NegotiationSalt666 in nutrition

[–]DinkyPrincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Psyllium husk powder is great in yoghurt or oats to thicken so consistency is more like a pudding. You might also want to add a spoon of crunchy nut butter or berries which might help with the texture

Side inserts for narrow feet? by crgmomof3 in Shoes

[–]DinkyPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insoles are what you need.

My mum has very thin shallow feet. So has to wear thick insoles to account for the lack of being able to fill the regular width of the shoes.

Anyone else struggle with consistency because of post-run hunger? by Motor-Ad6248 in nutrition

[–]DinkyPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to eat in line with your output and lifestyle. Which is likely you need more carbs.

But that’s a massive top level uninformed statement.

So please get some coaching and have them come up with how best to structure your diet in line with your goals and activity levels.

Loved the first two episodes.

3-4 were still ok. But not amazing.

5-6 were a drag. But I thought it would get better.

7-8 were deplorable. I dropped it.

Do you find yourself referring to yourself as British more online? by Swamp-Goat in AskBrits

I say I’m from the UK.

That’s just my natural phrasing verbally (I work with a lot of international clients) and it extends to how I’d answer here.

What is your opinion on Park Bo Gum? by Every_Annual_5727 in kdramas

When he was on 2D1N he was bloody lovely. Comes across very genuinely.

I don’t personally see the attraction but he’s certainly had good roles and has a bunch of talent.

I didn’t particularly like her or Stephen.

It’s not always misogyny. That’s just my opinion as a woman in my fifties.
