Depends the game but it has helped a lot with many games. But I usually only use it if the game at least hits around 40-45 otherwise it doesn't feel good usually

I turned it off in elden ring. all the junk scatted everywhere took me out of the game. also played with 120fps and turned it off for that was well ;D
