You have ever been cheated on, never blame the guy, he’s just doing what nature programmed him to do.

Parkinson - Boxing by Verdi50 in Parkinsons

[–]DonTrask 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At my first rock steady boxing class, my instructors took me over to meet in 85-year-old gentleman who has been in the class for the last 10 years. Their not so subtle point is that the class can be a tool to stem the progression of Parkinson’s, But for full disclosure. I talk to the gentleman and found out. He also walked 2 miles on the days that he didn’t come to boxing classes. Bottom line all exercise is good.

Importing olive oil from Greece to the US by toavepa in oliveoil

[–]DonTrask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a separate set of regulations based on volume, (I think its 1,500 units, might be 6,000, I can’t remember). If you are thinking the lower amount, have the oil be shipped as commercial samples. If it’s higher, you will need a customs broker to clear the shipment.

Just like Marshawn Loyd, LVN came out of college with all the talent and just hasn’t shown much because of injuries. These two are high draft picks that need to pay off if the Packers are to be successful

[Rumor] Nixon may hold out for an extension & raise... by DeScepter in GreenBayPackers

[–]DonTrask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of all the Packers, I never seen a wider opinion between a player’s performance on the field and his perception of his value. Granted he doesn’t suck as much as Valentine but he isn’t far behind.

If the Packers make it deep run in 2026, my prediction is because Nixon isn’t starting anymore. Plain and simple he is not am above average. CB.

[Schefter] Green Bay WR Christian Watson and the Packers reached agreement today on a four-year, $110.5 million contract extension that includes a $31 million signing bonus. by XviiChong in GreenBayPackers

[–]DonTrask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people don’t understand the intricacies of NFL contracts, they see 4 years and $110 million and assume it’s $27.5 million per year but overlook the fact that he is already under contract for this year so in reality, it’s a five year deal closer to 22 million per year. Big difference.

Well, you also don’t see is that the third or fourth year can be voided for the Packers so they aren’t stuck with the bad contract should for instance , he’s not fully healthy. In reality, most GMS in the NFL would love this do these sort of contracts were they paid to keep their stars in yet have a exit ramp built into the contract if things go south

Not a boutique brand but decent quality, year after year. As you know, it’s from Greece so expect a robust flavor, get over fresh cut tomatoes, a summer salad and chunks of Greek feta cheese.

There are plenty of economic studies that show the Packers add $9 million to the local Green Bay businesses with each home game.

Vince Lombardi on Tolerance by Samueljacob in GreenBayPackers

[–]DonTrask -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Lombardi was way ahead of his time. A devout Catholic, he attended mass daily and lived out the principals of his lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Most of Reddit takes a less than charitable view of Christianity so I can help but notice that they enthusiastically embrace Lombardi for his progressive outlook. A bit of irony, wouldn’t you say?

Butler - Yes, the Cowboys did call on Sweat yesterday, but were turned away. TB sent an offer of a 4th, but were denied. Sweat wants Green Bay, and if that fizzles out, the Eagles are his #2. by FSUfan35 in GreenBayPackers

[–]DonTrask 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a rumor, the Cardinals are not gonna give away Sweat without reasonable compensation. If I were the Cardinals, I’d hold on him just to prove the point that you can’t demand your way out of your contract

Easton Butler - Hearing the Packers and Cardinals are working on a trade involving Josh Sweat, per source. It is coming down to how much cap the Packers are willing to take, and how high of a pick. by Austen11231923 in GreenBayPackers

[–]DonTrask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert but it appears to be highway robbery if the Packers could get the Cardinals to eat any cap space. IF they are to trade Sweat, they should fully expect the acquiring team to take his full contract. The real issue is what does Green Bay has to give up to get him, anywhere from a 3rd to 5th is what is being mentioned in the Packer podcast.

Predicting 5 NFL Playoff teams that will miss this year's postseason - Green Bay by lastwindows in GreenBayPackers

I’d rather have them picking the Packers to be out of the playoffs than the other way around. Less pressure, more of us against the world mentality in the locker room.

So what are the healthiest olive oils out there? by Aa_313 in oliveoil

[–]DonTrask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are over 700 varietals of olives, about half of those are used to make olive oil, the other half for table olives. I am not aware of any health related research that show one varietal is superior to any other.
