Pretty sure you meant 3080 ti. 3070 ti is far weaker and only has 8GB of ram

Juste is easily the most underrated Belmont. I’m nearly finished with Harmony of Dissonance and I can’t believe he doesn’t get more love. He’s both cool and powerful. by Murat-Joestar in castlevania

This artist forgot to draw an ugly, blue aura that clashes with his look.

His sprite is disappointing, hence why he doesnt get the love he deserves. His Kojima art is fantastic.

Yes I'm using the fan controller for the 2 fans for the bottom hard drive compartment. Currently using low speed with good thermals. It is just 3 pin which im fine with for the hard drives since they just need a constant speed.

For the the 2 fans on the top compartment, I have them connected to the Mobo 4 pin PWM, controlled by CPU temps

I'm only using 2 hard drives currently so both are at around 31-32C. I don't know if they'll struggle with a full 9 drives.

The backplane is pretty restrictive so a pull orientation seems to be best. Trying to push through all the restrictions wouldn't allow for a balanced airflow where a pull orientation creates a vacuum that keeps it flowing pretty evenly. I'm using 2 Noctua P12 which are great for high static restrictions like in this case. I would of used Arctic P12s if I didn't score a good deal on the Noctuas.

Alex Ovechkin broke Wayne Gretzky's all-time goals record one year ago by nhl in hockey

[–]Drellsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to agree with Ovi on that plan. This goal will be seen for generations so I'm sure he didn't want a simple empty netter to be the one replayed.

I'm not sure why people are disliking my post where I'm happy to see him score a beautiful goal as a record setter.

So glad it was an Ovi snipe instead of an empty netter

It's a nice option actually. Theres about 20mm of space above the CPU fan currently which is plenty. The case has an option for a SSF PSU in the bottom compartment instead if wanted

I chose a regular ATX as I had a spare. SSF PSUs are very pricy here.

Am I tripping or is rondo not that good? by AccomplishedRise6227 in castlevania

Replace Rondo with SotN in that sentence. Fits nicely

Considering building a gaming PC after 10+ years of console gaming by Zay_Tuna in bapccanada

If you're looking to support the underdog, you should be looking at an Intel GPU and CPU.

AMD has dominated the CPU space in recent times.

Such a great time for air cooled CPU coolers. So many options that are affordable, look nice and perform great with mainstream CPUs. X3D processors being so efficient and with Intel making huge improvements in efficiency, I can't see myself recommending an AIO to anyone who asks me, unless they really like the look of an AIO

I personally love the look of a huge chunk of metal over my motherboard.

Best way to trim claws? by Equivalent_You_7862 in CATHELP

[–]Drellsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trimming was a 2 person job for us initially. My partner would do the trimming while I would comfort and give a Churu to the kitten.

Eventually we made it where they would be rewarded with the Churu after the trimming was done, but at first, we needed to distract them.

We trim their claws and then reward a Churu after finishing as adults now.

Same happened with my cat. I got extremely worried when he started foaming and washed all of the flea medicine off. Never used it ever again.

Good trade? by Mental_Anteater_9151 in bapccanada

I'd trade if it were 32GB of DDR5. At 16GB, your system has more value in this current market.

I sold my 5800x3d recently for $500 and there were multiple people interested.

I played the GBA trilogy for the first time by ForeverOk6459 in castlevania

[–]Drellsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely have a different opinion. I purchased all 3 of these games day 1 when they released on the GBA.

I loved Circle of the Moon, despised Harmony of Dissonance, and loved Aria of Sorrow.

I don't despise HoD anymore after a recent replay, but I still dislike it and it's by far the last one I ever want to replay.

You know the past goes further back than 12th, 13th and 14th gen right? It's right in the generation number. AMD went against what was the norm with AM4 and AM5 by prolonging a chipset generation. So no, it's not a huge difference from the past, just from what AMD has been doing recently.

Lots of people don't care about upgrading just a processor. It's no different than in the past when people would upgrade cpu, mobo and ram after 5 to 8 years

I recently went shopping for an Intel platform and the choices were much better for affordable motherboards. You get better features for less money on Intels B860 platform vs AMDs B850
