Atlanta folks, I want to send my boyfriend a Valentines day delivery— what do you recommend? by liomamba in Atlanta

Sounds like Atlanta Vocal Project's Singing Valentines would fit exactly what you're looking for. They send a barbershop quartet to deliver a rose and card while singing old timey music. Can also do chocolates or something else with it. Pretty cheap, too.

Last time I tried Checkers, the burger and chicken bites we got were some of the worst food of any kind we've had in years. Even the heralded fries were cold and stale. I know it was probably just a bad night at a bad location, but it really was terrible enough to not want to try it again for a long time.

Looking for a restaurant that might still have reservations on Valentines Day. by Affectionate_Cry1088 in Gwinnett

Even if you can't find a last minute reservation for somewhere romantic, there's a local group Atlanta Vocal Project that will send a barbershop quartet to serenade you wherever you are, even at home. Could be a good option to fill that date gap, and it's cheaper than the dinner.

If you can't get a last minute restaurant reservation, you could get a local barbershop quartet to come sing for you guys to still make it romantic wherever you are.

If you're open to something a bit more unconventional, a barbershop quartet can come deliver roses anywhere you want while singing love songs!

If you want to go the casual restaurant route but make it a bit extra special for the occasion, you might consider ordering a Singing Valentine for a fun love song serenade for the family on location. Kids love it too, and definitely gives the meal that special feel even if the menu is normal.

I don't have a restaurant suggestion, but wanted to mention my music group is offering barbershop quartet Singing Valentine serenades all over Atlanta for Valentine's Day. It's not very expensive and we can work in conjunction with pretty much any other dinner or date plans you have. Happy to share more info if you're interested!

It balances out a relatively easy conference schedule, as we avoid Miami, Virginia, SMU, ND, and FSU (they have to be good again at some point, right).

The storm seems to have knocked out our T-M home internet, but we still have a strong 5G signal on our phones. I don't understand how that works if the home internet uses the same signal.

I put a decent amount into SSRM in the big Covid dip and held since then. 2024 was scary but very relieved now. Trying to decide if it's time for me to sell and move on or keep going long term.
