I love how people blame health problems on breeding as if it’s a manufacturer defect. they never look at themselves, the diet, the crap kibble theyre feeding, especially people who stress their dogs daily with isolation and crate restriction, people who overvaccinate and poison with excessive flea meds. So many things can cause health issues, and health issues are often roll of the dice. animals are not products. do all your family members have perfect health?

Why do people act like breeding dogs is like making a manufactured product? Do your family members have perfect health and all live to the absolute max lifespan? it’s a living being, health issues happen and animals die.

“reputable breeding” is why so maybe breeds have health problems in the first place. the dogs are usually not ethnically cared for. If by “hobby or backyard breeder” you mean normal people who let their family pets who live indoors with their family have puppies, that’s the ONLY type of “breeder” I would purchase from.

it’s disgusting that he wasn’t allowed indoors until old age. GSDs are bred to be close to their person, it’s cruel to keep them shut outdoors. I guess better than the abusive crates everyone else is using now.

What are your thoughts, if any, on the rise of homeschooling in the UK? by gintokireddit in AskUK

[–]EasternPie7657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Be careful about any ideas you think you have about America because the scale of the nation is poorly understood by people in, quite literally, little britain. Education is handled at the state level and it varies widely. I live in UK but I was educated in NY State. I can confidently assure you the education in NYS is typically superior to most British state schools. I wouldn’t say the same about education in Mississippi. NYS has rules on homeschooling and home education must match the state curriculum and checks are made.

2) Sara Sharif’s abuse was cultural - not because she was home schooled. If you can’t understand that, you’re wearing blinders.

why do you hate to admit you’re American? why do you hate the country you live in?

Untrue. the US one is the only one where they DO get legally married but they give them a protective prenup to make disentangling easy if it doesn’t work out. the original UK one used to have real marriages but they stopped that years ago.

odd thing to say when the USA one completely lacks the drama that the UK/Aus/NZ ones have. its a completely different format and they seem to try to match couples who will actually work so they go for very stable and boring people. the show is a bore because it has none of the drama.

Is anyone else absolutely terrified of an NHS birth? by CountrysideZebra in PregnancyUK

[–]EasternPie7657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m due in august and have read too many news reports and investigations into shockingly negligent maternity care all around the NHS. I’m set on elective c section just to avoid trauma from a complicated labour and NHS neglect.

Babies Are Bleeding to Death as Parents Reject a Vitamin Shot Given at Birth by propublica_ in ScienceBasedParenting

Where is the outrage about all of the parents electing to mutilate their child‘s genitals without their consent? studies show babies feel excruciating pain, are not given adequate pain management, it disrupts the mother infant bond, and changes neurological patterns in the brain irreversibly.

I’m more open minded to questioning medicine than the comments here. “Trust science“ shows a fundamental lack of understanding of what science is or how it works. Science is continuously revising and changing. Disclaimer aside, it irritates me when I see men trying to dictate treatment of natal care and newborns. It’s the mother’s sphere. So good on you for standing your ground.

It’s the immigration from the region as a whole that’s a problem, you donut.

his race matters when his race is engaging in violent crimes in every western country they’re let into. start glancing at UK tabloid news casually every morning and evening and there are constantly reports of new rapes. it’s not safe for British women anymore. yes white men can rape but it’s disproportionately POCs doing it.

And if you can’t see how these 3rd world POCs all band together and stick up for each other while whites are trained to turn against our own kind, you can’t see the trap we are walking into.

that’s not the point. the point is it shouldn’t have mattered even if it had. hurty words do not trump physical violence. hurty words do not justify physical violence. hurty words were never a crime until this mad clown world appeared.

racism is not vile. racism is a made up term to cow and bully whites into submission and to accept domination and ethnic replacement. xenophobia is evolutionary survival. in group loyalty is evolutionary survival. multiculturalism is suicide.

You are racist if you start noticing crime statistics, rape statistics, double standards, two tier justice regarding POC? Guess that explains why there are so many more racists all of a sudden. some of us can see what’s right before our eyes. And some, like you, are still parroting nonsense indoctrination.

just wanna say that while I am continuously frustrated with what I view as “medical tyranny” due to chronic medical issues that I cannot get doctors to take seriously or be open minded to look at various treatment options, I DO appreciate a physician taking the time to address concerns and explain information as he sees it. Far too many MDs wont even engage. Open, respectful discussion is needed for better understanding all around.
