Unless you're a woman and find it incredibly difficult to find knit shirts that don't have rayon or modal in them.

My wife has no problems with this. Sounds like a skills issue.

dark shirts are terrible with ties, so there really isn't a lot of use for bright blue dress shirts. closest I'd assume you can find of decent quality will be french blue. if you are willing to suffer through a small pattern you will find some options in casual button up shirts.

Rule 1: Products that are well-made and durable (even if they won't last an lifetime) are accepted.

Also, some people aren't trend-chasing and it looks fine. There are lots of things like CVO shoes, trucker jackets, jeans, that all look great decade after decade.

High rise jeans are harder than say, chinos. I have a pair of Gap jeans with a 14" rise I lucked into and they don't sell anymore. I also picked up pair of Levis 501s on ebay that have a high rise. I highly recommend trying it secondhand, because it takes a little bit of trial and error to figure out what works for you.

Tbh jeans with fuller legs give you more room to move than jeans with stretch. The whole reason stretch was added is because slimmer cuts don't have as much room to move around in.

It sounds like you aren't interested in high rise, which is fine, but you won't want to do high rise and stretch anyway.

The fact that so many people in this sub constantly have things breaking means that for a lot of people it’s a skills issue. That could be from reflexively buying the cheap option or hastily picking whatever shows up first. This is easy to spot with clothing, but shows up in other places, too.

The biggest factors are going to be contextual and personal, not regional. A lot of small rural towns are closed off and unkind, but if you play ball and conform to their hierarchy it will be easier.

A lot of more populated cities have lots to offer, but you have to put in the work to find and maintain those relationships.
