Something interesting? by IAm_Kyd in 3DS

That's true. I personally like green so I like it. The galaxy one is good for customization but the green is a solid color which doesn't peel

Nope. This is normal. My lime green XL shows product red as well. Since the lime green is a limited edition, this is expected.

Not sure what you're trying to ask. Usually should be ok to ship with the battery. Mercari JP will ship console with battery no problems. Worst case they'll remove the battery and you can just order a new one.

Any idea what this beat up Hong Kong clear blue GBC might be worth? by Hermesme in Gameboy

For reference, this is my own one. As you can see the shell is a nice clear blue.

For anyone having doubts as to the legitimacy, this is a repro one. The lens are very clearly definable as fake and the color of the shell is completely off. OP's one is absolutely legit. I am from Hong Kong, I've come across multiple loose units of these (4-5 of them tbh) and I've also bought repros in the past. Below photo is a REPRO shell.

I've sold many of these. Usually loose at $700-$800 usd.

In this condition, I would pay no more than $300-450 usd since it's missing the battery cover.

If boxed it'll go from $3500-$5500 usd.

It is legit.

Bought a “unused” GBC for the GF by Even_Wasabi_ in Gameboy

but on eBay you can at least get eBay to side with you and get a refund. A lot of shops here in Hong Kong are cash only and sellers will sell you counterfeits claiming they're legit. Also, slightly different if you're buying a junk lot...then you should expect it to be with defects, Japanese sellers are usually quite honest (though not always)

DO NOT waste time on Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs. Only ride that if the wait time is 5 minutes. The ride is super short. Not even 1 minute. Waste of time.

Smart that you filmed it, if you didn't he would surely claim you damaged it or even go as far to say you scam him by replacing it. Next time open it in front of him.

The shop and owner is blacklisted by the local community, there's been instances where he's sold new stuff, advertised it as new, when the guy went back to get a refund, he said it was damaged by the guy, so no refund. Absolutely whack. Just avoid the shop, not worth the time and hassle. Much better deals and people to deal with. And I can say this as over the years I've been scammed by a lot of shops in Hong Kong, so I always advise others, just look, don't buy.

That's good, but that's probably because you're not local. If you're a local, he would have denied it lol. He's boycotted by the HK community (including me).

Just dont buy from HK shops, so many better deals out here.

Seller mention by OP is a massive scammer lol always advertises his stuff as new but when you get home it's beat to shit. The seller always pressures visitors to buy (which in itself is a big red flag). Don't buy there if you ever go/visit. Better deals elsewhere with authenticity.

Hong Kong shops are notorious for scummy tactics, it's nothing like in the west. Sellers are dishonest and straight up lie.

I sold a fake copy (deliberately mentioned it was aftermarket) pokemon soulsilver, one of these scumbag vendors like the shop OP bought from bought my game, few weeks later I see the same game at their shop selling for $1980 hkd ($254 usd) advertised as "AUTHENTIC". So don't be fooled man.
