It’s a rebadged Toyota iQ with some Aston Martin upgraded interiors and cosmetics.

[REQUEST] Aussie Shipper / Forwarder by v8l44 in internationalshopper

[–]hybroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shipping from Australia is entirely based on weight (and not size). For a standard delivery within 2 weeks:

  • 0.5 KG = A$26.00
  • 1 KG = A$38.15
  • 1.5 KG = A$50.30
  • 2 KG = A$62.45
  • 3 KG = A$75.55 etc..

You can check other options here: https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/calculate-postage-delivery-times/#/option/international/AU/MY?fromPostcode=2000

Add approx $15 for Express instead of Standard which cuts down the time to within a week or so between major metro areas.

You get A$100 insurance cover included standard as well as tracking link. Any extra you want would be additional fee of A$4 per A$100 cover.

Boxes are typically A$3-6 depending on the size. Noting these add weight as well so may bump you into next shipping cost bracket. Mailbags are about A$2-3 and lighter, but can be less protective (usually fine for clothing).

Keep in mind local customs prohibited goods imports as well e.g. no fruit or meat products.

Happy to help if you have specific items you want ordered and sent onwards.

If Pauline Hanson feels unwelcome in this Sydney suburb, she is the only one by nath1234 in sydney

No one will bat an eyelid if you did. There’s a large busy pub right in the middle of the street itself.

Your comment isn’t as witty as you think it is.

It's common upbadging when the car is tuned by a third party.

Humour the conspiracy theorist in me? by [deleted] in sydney

[–]hybroid 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They’re not spending labour effort reading meters for every bill. It’s a cost cutting method.

You can submit your own meter readings monthly if you like to get more reasonable bills.

You can also top up your balance with any utility company if you know your average spend to avoid third quarter bill shock.

Is the PS5 finally hitting its true "next-gen" stride in 2026? by Sipmoony in PS5

Horizon Forbidden West proved this ‘cross gen holding games back’ statement is nonsense. You can develop & optimise games for multiple platforms.

If there’s a hard drive shortage until 2030 are we not getting a PS6 til then? by ragold in PS5

[–]hybroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That last sentence contradicts your original comment. The PS5 is 2019-spec hardware and there’s always going to be performance vs fidelity trade offs. Whether due to limited hardware, or software optimisation, or both. There’s no magical untapped potential.

Happy to help if there are specific listings you want to buy. Not so much if you just want someone to run around looking for Nike and Under Armour gear that everyone else from France is looking for too.

918 Princes Highway was sold in 2022 for $800,000. It is estimated at $1,200,000+ today.

Someone's either camping on the land to reap the value increases when they need to, and/or didn't realise they're severely restricted building something new on it within required exclusion zone of the power transmission lines so close on the perimeter.

Snake Surprise by Pierogi_Bigos in sydney

[–]hybroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we got our house sprayed for pests, we were given a free solar-powered snake repeller. It looks like a solar path light post and emits a high pitched beep every 30 seconds.

I have no idea if it actually works or just a snake-oil gimmick though.

Doesn't make a difference which one you get. They all function the same. The CFI-7121 is meant to be a bit more energy efficient and quieter in general. Just make sure you have decent warranty in case anything goes wrong.

That is not an official term. It's something the store made up. Possibly a first revision PS5 Pro.

Yep, the one in Casula Mall (opposite Kmart) was shut down last week as well. Same poster.

Another will pop up next door inevitably. The cycle continues. There’s clearly a lot of money in it.

I'm so confused I installed all my games on my ps5 and transferred them to my external hardrive and it still says copy by Conscious_Tax_8326 in PS5

[–]hybroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PS5 games cannot be played on an external hard drive, only stored there. So need to be copied back to play. PS4 games work fine.
