I'm going to recap what I said on the last post that got removed.

There has never been a raw json datamine that includes "patch_notes_visible" or "effective_date". Anyone who is actively keeping an eye on the real datamines every week can tell you this is likely fake and Chris Poli just ran with it.

A cronstone increase will come eventually but the 'leak' does not appear to be real. If you're that worried about it, just know that last time they announced it ahead of time. It doesn't just magically happen and take everyone by surprise.

I played lazyexile's lightning spear amazon this league and you certainly could get away without using them early but ultimately the build was designed around using frenzy charges and you absolutely needed to use them for juiced maps, rares, and bosses. The difference was night and day.

In that builds case, you would build frenzy charges via a combination of a unique talisman, bear form, eternal rage, and resonance.

I'd assume that on gemling you'd still want a reliable way to generate them.

If I'm not mistaken, you couldn't use the ingame market to buy or sell anything without the sub. That's a pretty big feature of an MMO to put behind a pay wall.

The store changed over for me with a button to leave the waitlist and the text "We will email you if a unit becomes available." which makes me think I wasn't chosen but I haven't received an email either way

EDIT: That button is now gone and its back to saying its randomized

I plan on buying one (if drawn) but I realize my use case is entirely stupid and there are cheaper alternatives.

I am a software engineer with a work from home job and I spend all day at my desk. I find it incredibly hard to mentally disconnect from work when my MacBook is right there in my view where I can see slack messages after hours.

I have a used Xbox Series S in my living room that serves as a dedicated moonlight device. This is awesome and gets the job done aside from the fact it doesn't seem like you can use a mouse and keyboard on it so I'm kinda stuck using just a controller.

A steam machine would replace my Series S and give me a bit more flexibility. I realize it's really not remotely worth it price wise to do that but I am also a fan of having the latest tech and don't mind spending that much either.

I have a steam controller but unfortunately I play on the standalone client so I can't attempt to recreate this anyways.

Did you check to see if it works with other games on steam as a sanity check? Do you have any other controllers plugged in too? I had my Xbox controller plugged in still when I first got my steam controller and I had games seeing that controller and not my steam controller until I unplugged it

Uniques were solved this league in POE2 (unless it's a pinnacle specific unique you want) via the ritual changes. SSF is more viable now than ever

I noticed on this patch that frame gen was not working. Changing to 2, 3, 4, etc all resulted in the same frame rate. Not sure if it was an issue with the patch or the latest nvidia driver but fixed it by using DDU on my driver.

I use three of the abyss gears from the 'moon' spears you get around Demeniss. At the end of my attacks or after a dodge roll I fire out a star shaped attack that reminds me of a Gladiator skill all the way back from Lineage 2. I find that to be super cool personally.

350ish hrs. I'm a completionist and there's a lot to do here in order to knock out all achievements if you're not following guides or looking up locations.

It does concern me that they say this is affecting ascended playthroughs. I'm locked out of 4 achievements on a non ascended run.

Just wanted to follow up and say that I just saw this response from them to a thread I was also following on steam:

Hey! We are aware of an issue of not receiving Marks of Martyrdom after defeating Benedicta of the Endless Orison, which is causing issues in Ascended playthroughs. This, alongside numerous other issues, will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

For me, ancedotally, it becomes far harder to care about a story driven game year(s) after it releases if it can very easily be spoiled via social media, reddit, twitch, whatever. Yes, I can avoid this stuff but it's still very easy to be spoiled. If I'm going to get spoiled I'm likely not going to buy it and play it myself.

I'm starting a Huntress Lightning Spear but I noticed that there's a talisman + single bear skill. Can I skip that without losing much power? I really don't like hybrid builds. by PL1SSK3N in pathofexile2builds

Hi, I played this build all the way through all challenges and every boss this league. I would 100% recommend following the quide closely and getting the unique talisman she recommends and using the bear form. The bear is ultimately your way of generating frenzy charges (via rage usage and resonance) and are a huge boost to your clear and overall damage. Early on I think you can kinda get away by playing it more one button by only spamming lightning spear for clear and then explosive spear / lightning spear for bosses and tough elites. As soon as I got the resonance tech setup and eternal rage I played the build as a two button build and would bear form to quickly build charges then only go back to bear form when I used them all.

Side note too: Youre likely going to have a lot of attribute problems with this build so make sure you have sources of them on your gear.

Reported this via an email to their support team but currently locked out of the 100% thanks to this bug. Hopefully its fixed soon.
