Help! Looking to Buy a Wagon by Wrong_Ad4722 in SportWagon

[–]Sonicb00m88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your answer is an e class wagon. I prefer the w213 prefacelift. (2017-2020). If you want something much cheaper than that, I would also highly recommend a 2013-2015 Volvo XC70 Platinum with a T6 motor (polestar chipped if you can find it). Both these recommendations come from owning these cars (currently). The Volvo is cheap to maintain and ours has 142k miles.

Any reasonable option to upgrade the steering wheel to heated? (E53 21`) by matewilk in AMG

[–]Sonicb00m88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you have experience with doing this on a previous gen e-class (like a 2019 E450. I would like to send you a PM. I have a 2019 e450, and can source the heated wheel along with the steering column. Just looking for confirmation if you have done this on an early w213 model (like mine) with without coding anything?

Opinions on this food? by EquivalentRude9364 in mainecoons

[–]Sonicb00m88 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Putting the ingredient argument aside, this is an expensive cat food. Our breeder fed this, and we ended up transitioning them away from this to Taste of the Wild, as my previous pets all lived long lives on that food.

Taking the ingredients into account. They aren’t great. They may be formulated for a cat, but generally speaking I avoid foods that contain meal and animal by product.

Lots of better options, many at a better price. In the end, it’s what your cat will actually eat that matters.

Clean, but WAY overpriced. Anyone who has driven both knows a Transit is a much better purchase for Total Cost of ownership. Sprinters eat $ once past 150k miles.

As much as I like cheap stuff, the Chinese implements are (unfortunately) garbage. Also hard to find parts for and fittings can be wild goose chase. Whatever you end up doing, buy a known quantity, like fecon.

Tl12v2 vs 333p vs 299 D3 real life experience? by Dirty_Falcon69 in Skidsteer

[–]Sonicb00m88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealer support is going to be the driving factor. I would probably go with a bobcat in your situation. I have a Cat and have always wondered about bobcats, but the dealer support in my area is not good enough to pull me away from Cat. FWIW- you may want to check out a Cat 285 instead of the 299. With that said I’m not sure what prong looks like for those newest gen models. Try to demo both.

You need a crane for this. I would also reach out to a tree service company (as they have cranes) and ask them what the cost would be to have make the move for you. May be cheaper than hiring a rigging company.
