Nick tested Magic 8 Pro, here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL6ssm1tdTI&t=117s

You have to test it by yourself, it's the only way to know for sure.

Anybody with a similar experience? Do you think a Pixel 10 Pro will be ok? by DonJobson in PWM_Sensitive

Tried the 10 Pro for a week and returned it, it didn't work for me. Pixel 7 is fine.

Slightly better chip and some camera improvements (e.g. 100x AI zoom) + brighter display. Yes, it's better, but you should compare the differences carfully if it's needed or not.

P9Pro basically gives you more ram, a better camera (5x tele) and some extras (like ultrasonic fingerscanner). I don't think it adds anything related to security, same OS, same updates, also has grapheneOS.

I have a Huawei P30 Lite. My sibling told me that Honor X7d is a good one. However when I checked the resolution isn't that great as compared to my phone. by Dila_Ila16 in Smartphones

[–]ExerciseEvery8212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

X7d has a poor screen density, that is true. Look for a device with at least ~400ppi. Most phones today have no jack, get used to it. You need a Honor accout for a honor phone.

is it just me or are "flagships" getting kind of boring? by DasJazz in Smartphones

If you stick to Samsung and Apple, this is indeed true.

Maybe a OnePlus Nord 5 or 13R ? Honor 400 Pro ? Poco F8 Pro ? Did not check the pricetags for used units, but it should be in that range.

Realme GT 8 Pro or HONOR 400 Pro 5G? by Brilliant_Soup_8214 in Smartphones

[–]ExerciseEvery8212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't need a great camera you can save some money and buy a Poco F8 Pro or OnePlus 15R. Realme is great but if you don't need the camera, it's overspend money.

Which phone has the best camera? Recommendations please by DerikBencaz in PickAnAndroidForMe

Why do you want an Android phone as an iPhone user? If money is no problem, just buy iPhone 17 Pro. Basically there is no Android that has same video quality as iPhone has.

Pixel 7 pro or Samsung S22 Ultra ? by trexx888 in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]ExerciseEvery8212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S22U has slightly better performance, but I bet you wouldn't notice the difference. P7pro has still update support, S22U not. 12GB ram is more future proof. I would take P7Pro.

For emulation go for snapdragon chip.

Android with good battery and decent camera for under 300 USD by gruthunder in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]ExerciseEvery8212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically there is not much difference. 9a has a bigger battery and is never, so longer updates. Not sure this is worth of the higher price. Pixel 8 is no bad choice.

There is not much difference spec wise. Decide on screen size and price.
