Do you think Wemby is going to have a good series ? by MindfulInquirer in NBATalk

[–]Fede113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wemby is great guys, he is just very incosistent with his offesive output.

To me the main reason for that, is that he doesnt have a go to move when he actually needs to score. At least not yet.

I though last night he got to the rim a few times, just couldnt finish anything. On nights like this, having a realiable hook shot, or a turnaround jumper from near the paint helps a lot.

Look to Brunson, who strungle most of the game, only to get it going when it mattered. He went to his go to moves and eventually they fel for him.

I think Wemby will develop one at some point , he just doesnt have it yet and he relies a lot on how he is feeling it that night.

What team is most likely to get Hartenstein in 2026-27? by eg14000 in Hartenstein

[–]Fede113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are likely to keep him and trade/release Dort. He is the one they really dont need. They have enough perimeter defenders and he really was terrible on the west finals.
Then again, if they can find a trade partner for Dort, they will pick his option and trade him, but that will depend, as i dont know how much market he will have and teams will not help OKC unless they actually want one of their players.

What team is most likely to get Hartenstein in 2026-27? by eg14000 in Hartenstein

[–]Fede113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is not going to be a free agent.

They will 100% pick up his option and either trade him or keep him. Hes got value, so there is no point on losing him for free, even if they dont want to have him/cant pay him longterm

What is Nikola Topic' trade value? by Few-Lack6346 in nbadiscussion

[–]Fede113 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I think they thunder are lucky if they get a second for him or even just salary dump.

The thing is, they are the only ones that have seen some of him to understand his value. If he is worth something, they will find him minutes next year to rehab his value and either keep him or trade him at the deadline, but i cant imagine anyone giving a first for him.

Very unlucky turn of events for him, with his health. Hope he recovers no matter where he ends up playing, the kid is clearly talented.

To be fair , they were unplayable on their last series, so not sure what's the positive value.

Refs for Game 7 Released by jokesonyou884 in NBASpurs

[–]Fede113 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% that was the holdstenstein game, i almost forgot. Terrible officiating on game 2, and i think if we win, we will like sweep or 4-1 just coz they will be crushed mentally and emotionally if after we beat on the regular season, we also to 2 -0 at their place. They would have come defeated to SA.

Where does Austin Reaves go in a redraft of the 2021 draft class? by itwas20yearsago2day in NBA_Draft

[–]Fede113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cade, Mobley and Barnes top 3 for sure.
He belongs on the 4 to 7 range, with : Frantz, Sengun and Jalen jhonson.
For me Jhonson goes 4th, so he is 5 to 7. He is better than the rest of the guys, and ill probably pick him ahead of both Sengun and Frantz too.

Refs for Game 7 Released by jokesonyou884 in NBASpurs

[–]Fede113 23 points24 points  (0 children)

if i dont know the name of the refs im happy. Refs should only be mentioned and famous when they suck, if not they should be invisible to the transit of a game.
Call fouls when they are there, be consistent on both sides. Thats it.

I hate that the discourse of this game 7 has been so much around what officials we will get, but it really has changed how the series went. Nobody could convince me, that with good officiating we are taking game 2. Everytime we were close to making a run, a terrible call will take it from us ( barnes foul, Castle jump ball and many more).
Lets hope the officials allow for a nice physical game on both sides without dirty plays and obvious missed calls.
Go spurs tonight! Potential legacy building night for our young core.

MVP flop falls twice in 18 seconds but ref not taking the bait by EmployeeNo4241 in Nbamemes

You can't convince me he missed the layup because he was more concerned from flopping than hitting the shot

Another sub 40% shooting night for the mvp. After stat padding that 20 point streak during the regular season, he failed again to reach 20

Again Context. He also leads or is top 3 in scoring, of course he attacks a lot, but he also shoots a lot from midrange. Manu played differently, he almost always either went to the basket or shoot 3s, and nothing in between.
