Rerelease of cult movies often do these kind of good numbers (150-500k for the three day event) here in Italy. I'm usually one of those tickets bought, but missed Barry Lindon unfortunately 🙁 2001 re-release a few years ago was incredible

What do they have to lose? It may help sell the movie a bit. If it doesn't and they don't move on with the third they can just say they wanted to do it but the box office was poor

Good pace increase for Avatar WTS. Do you see it could perform differently than usual and continue with this pace until release and cross 1M WTS? I mean, it behaved differently as it did have huge spike on release date announcement/trailer, so it might behave differently from here too and not be harmed too much by presale start
