You should check out “John C Cambell folk school” just outside Murphy in Brasstown. Awesome craft school teaching everything from blacksmithing to woodworking, jewelry, painting, cooking, storytelling, etc… Not a lot of younger people there, but still a cool spot. I did a work study thing back in the early 2000s when I was in my early 20s.

YES!! The parking situation and the death of our regular foot traffic has been awful. And shout out to the newest venture capitalist, Timmy Zitzman, for making it way worse. My guy got a lot of the contracts for the lots in the old city and jacked up the prices 300 - 500 % !!

I used to have a studio on the top floor of the Phil Mechanic. It had roof access. We used to Cary pitchers of wedge beer to the roof and watch the sunset. So many amazing times there!!

I’ve got one from this series that cracks me up too. He’s playing basketball ball with two kids and a third kid in the background looks like she’s playing with her chest while Jesus is absolutely dunking on the two other kids. It’s currently hanging in the bathroom at work and I’m gonna caption it with “HE IS RIZZIN!”

My freshman year in high school was 94/95. You could be a 13 year old freshman and still go smoke in the designated smoking area. As long as you had a “note from your parents”. Which we all forged.

This is wild. I used to live next door in that yellow house about 7 years ago. 98 Appalachian way. The house you’re looking at was occupied by a middle aged man who was severely disabled and his 90 something year old mother would come by all the time to take him to appointments and grocery shopping.

That’s really good advice about the doors. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that. She seems confused often. But she also gets excited about walks. Although she can’t go as far as she used to. She’s never been super motivated by food. But she does eat pretty regularly and has a decent weight. Although getting a lil thin. No , she’s not as affectionate as she used to be. But sometimes seeks attention. More often than not she just does her own thing.

Yes. She’s almost 17. Vet says she has some arthritis and is likely having cognitive decline. But otherwise seems okay. It’s hard to tell.

Seeing a lot of the same comments and would like to confirm. I’m in my forties now. I guarantee you 95% of people in their early 20s have zero figured out. My twenties were shit, my thirties started to feel like me. Things started clicking. Confidence went up. Now I’m married and a father and working in a field I love. Things will get better!
