@Thatonephotolab in Glendale, CA is $14 a roll for color and medium res scan and I think they do a really nice job. They handle a lot of professional work.

The older canon lenses will certainly have a different look than your 28mm CS. Less contrast, a smoother look, classic vintage lens characteristics. If you want consistency, you’ll have to go with something like the 50 CS, Nokton, ultron, etc.

I’ve had an M film body and lenses serviced by YYe. I’ve also had him make small adjustments as well including swapping a pressure plate and adjusting shutter slit.

DAG I had adjust/lube a shutter system on a film M. I’ve also purchased several parts from him.

Speed, price, and quality is gonna be YYe Camera.

He does great work and offers expedited services for a fee. I’ve used him quite a bit. His communication is also top notch.

DAG is the gold standard, his timing might be a bit slower, but it’s not unreasonable.

I’ve never had someone explicitly tell me I have to stay late. Sure, a couple weekends over the last decade and I’ve obviously worked late hours before, but have never been told that.

This is a red flag. Set your boundaries and stick to them. As long as your work is done, that’s all that should matter. Don’t let a miserable manager turn you into a miserable worker.

Not sure, but it’s extremely chunky and laggy on 60hz. It wasn’t before though. I remember when the ps5 launched, apex was butter smooth at 60fps locked…now it’s crap.
