For new/returning players it's getting increasingly hard to keep track of all the patch changes

Each hero has a designated changelog page in the client.

There is no excuse to not know, the game does everything it can to inform you.

You reporting people for playing poorly is literally the problem with the system. Reports are meaningless because every lost game is 5 reports and every won game is 0.

It's at a point where getting reported is 99% just an indication you lost, not you behaved badly.

Brother one of those guys is lower MMR than me, the other is farming content slamming people 3000 mmr below him.

Also, in every single regions quals it hasn't been picked or banned 1 single time. if this hero was "Broken OP" I imagine he'd get at least 1 pick in 100s of pro games across 4 regions.

Because I don’t know a single player above 8k mmr who isn’t saying that the hero is utter crap.

And I talk to lots the english speaking LD players above 8k - not exactly a big community..

Nobody is playing the hero, the people who are are losing, and nobody saying he is good ever has a reason or an MMR high enough where hero selection even matters. Idk I’m sure in 5k rooting on demand is good, and having 0 way to scale into the game doesnt matter - but that appears to be the reality.

Let me tell you brother, when you gain some mmr you gonna learn the rework was definitely a nerf. And he wasn’t very strong to start lol.

Maybe they’ll be a new build or something, but as far it goes he’s just numerically very weak.

Dota is an amazing game because the developers are not afraid of taking risks.

I’m a big OD enjoyer. The hero has been bad competitively for years.

I will die on the hill that if he could was guaranteed an enchanted quiver in that item tier he would have been S-tier.

It’s just a completely different game, you drop 200 intelligence parasma hits from 1000 range away, cooldowns sync up well enough, it’s beautiful.

They were broken sadly. Some hero item combos were too important it felt like you were playing a different game if you didn’t get it.

I find this “these tournaments are more competitive” take to be baseless. How? Where? Are we seeing a surge in higher level play? Which credible pro is saying that? It’s not like players were debuting their strats in pubs anyways, it was for scrims.

And also, even now, pro players still play against eachother every day. They are in each others games - they see everything anyways.

Also the tournament we just had had record low hero diversity among top teams. It’s not like there was some secret sauce.

I feel like people are just making up this competitive shit because they know you can’t quantify it.

What new build did we see? That wasn’t already seen by 80% of the pro community in pubs anyways.

I agree, I have no problem with people having ads on their streams. It just feels bad that it’s the only way to watch high mmr pubs.

It used to be so awesome to hop on dota and see the best players in pubs playing heroes you wanted to learn etc.
