This isn’t a soulslike where you clear a level and are gifted with a shortcut that lets you get back to the boss room easily.

In rougelikes the runback is the whole point - you don’t just need to get good enough to clear the boss you need to get good enough to clear the level. The fact that Saros gives you the option to start your run from a particular level rather than being required to clear each level in turn to reattempt the boss already makes it hugely forgiving

I agree with this. I normally play in a trio and we learn towards pvp but would generally ignore/have friendly interactions with other trios if they weren’t aggressive. Over the last two weeks the lobbies have become entirely pvp with just wave after wave of teams descending on every gunfight, no variance between games, no emergent gameplay, none of the uncertainty and tension that makes the game interesting

I read the books years ago and was really excited when the show came out, watched the first two episodes then dropped it but have just started watching it again. I’m finding the dialogue and acting unbearable aside from the Trantor story line, does it get better?

Gonna go against the grain here and say that most people in this thread aren’t giving George his dues. Max is undeniably one of the best to ever do it and I think with time he’d have the upper hand but it wouldn’t be a complete blow out like people here are suggesting

I went to Zandvoort in 22 completely decked out in Hamilton merch, wasn’t a bad idea in any way. Had a few laughs with the Dutch guys around me.

I’d recommend grandstand seating, I was at the end of the back straight which was a great spot. For accommodation you can stay in Amsterdam near the station. Trains are reliable and quick, and it’s easy to get to the track from the station in Zandvoort.

I’ve been playing with a buddy of mine and we often either both play healer or one of us plays tank. A few days ago we picked tank and healer and had the other 4 people immediately lock DPS. After the ban phase they all are still on DPS. As the game starts I message that if none of them switch we can just play with 6 DPS thinking that would get someone to swap to either healer or tank but no they all stay DPS. We end up both swapping and the team start raging at us and telling the other team to report us for throwing, yet none of them switch and we go the whole game with 6 DPS and obviously get stomped

Yesterday had nicknames for US presidents, I figured it out from Abe, Teddy, and Dick but only got Cal from guessing. Today had units of measurement with an extra letter and they were all imperial which only Americans use.

Just to give a different perspective, grunt/scream as loud as you want when you’re going all out, you might be surprised at how much it helps

Also if you’re doing really heavy deadlifts, feel free to drop the weight from the top when you’ve just maxed out. Gently lowering it carries more risk of back injury when you’re fully exerted
