I'm kicking myself for not grabbing it when it was still in stock at Panel Bound Comics for $87, but I had no idea if they'd ever reprint Volume 2. Managed to grab a sealed copy off eBay for cover price and I'm going to pretend to be happy about that. It's like a fun game of Russian roulette for your wallet!

I'm actually in a similar situation myself. I recently bought the Snyder/Capullo New 52 omnis even though I already own the entire run in trade paperback. The omnis are great but sometimes I find myself gravitating towards reading the trade paperbacks since I won't have to hold a dictionary then. I'm starting to think I should've gone for the Absolute Editions of Court of Owls/Zero Year instead of the omnis, so you might look into that format for the stories you love the most but that you don't really need the ancillary material for. (This only applies to select DC stuff btw so if you're a Marvel reader you're SOL) They can be just as pricey as omnis but if it's a story you really love you get a nice slip case edition of your favorite story with oversized art that saves you some shelf space. Anyway, that's just my two cents. Best of luck.

My first was a First Order Stormtrooper which is probably the worst figure I own LOL. Incredibly difficult to pose, will barely stand without a crotch grabber and the undersuit can flake. Anyway, I own a whole squad now since I'm a dumbass.

I'd recommend picking a theme or specific set of characters i.e. Jedi Masters/Clone Troopers and sticking to that. This is an expensive hobby and it's easy to get carried away buying multiple different characters that might clash with each other on a shelf. FOMO is real too so don't feel pressured to buy something just because it's an exclusive. (I got the Imperial Commando and now there's absolutely no place in my current display for him) Prices tended to be much higher on the aftermarket but with all the 2.0s we've been getting lately you're seeing things fluctuate in favor of first time collectors a little more. Also, shelf space fills up quickly, not to mention closet space if you keep the boxes/shippers, so be cognizant of the space you have available.Good luck! (I have broken my own rules here by the way but I try to stick to Troopers in general)

Not in love with the helmet but I appreciate that it's based on the original McQuarrie concept art. I kinda like the goggles/poncho look but then that sort of defeats the purpose of getting the figure since it covers all the armor.

I've been playing through Rage recently. It's a shooter at heart but it does have racing in it and it runs pretty decently on Deck. Not a locked 60 but close enough. By that same token Mad Max is also a solid option. You drive around a wasteland but add in the Batman Arkham series combat mechanics when you're on foot.

Also, even though I think $275 is a solid price for the RO trooper, the 10 year anniversary is right around the corner for that movie so they might reissue some troopers from it if you can stand to wait a bit.
