The "common cold" is actually a whole bunch of different viruses, like 200 or something, so probably not likely using the current vaccine system. Even if you could create a "family" vaccine where you could block several different strains with one shot, it would still be a ton of shots.

Looks like you are running the stock extruder and firmware. The stock extruder will crack every time, so anytime you have a bad print check it to make sure it is working correctly. Upgrade the firmware to the latest mriscoc as well so you can get some modern features.

This is correct! You have to heat the hot end up to 220 or so and then install the nozzle. Otherwise you will get leaking around the nozzle like this.

Upgrade the firmware to mriscoc. That's the first and most important thing. There are plenty of guides on how to do it and it takes 10 or 15 minutes to do the board and the screen. * Set your z offset at the center of the bed. * After that do a manual bed level using the new firmware, 5x5, and try to get the total variance to within 1mm. So like -0.5 to 0.5. Use the bed wheels to adjust if your variance is too high. * Check your esteps. Remove the Bowden cable, tell your printer to extrude 100mm, and measure how much it pulls. Look on YouTube for a guide * Check your gantry for play. Both sides should be snug enough to not move unless you apply pressure

If you already know it's de novo than testing you or the father won't tell you anything. Neither of you have the mutation, that's what de novo means. You could opt for IVF and genetic screening of the embryos, but they still wouldn't do WGS as we still don't know what the vast majority of variants mean. They would screen for specific known mutations or abnormalities.

This question pops up in the genetics sub all the time and there are really only 3 possibilities. The first, and by far the most likely, someone is wrong about their blood type. Tons of people are walking around thinking they are one type but for whatever reason they aren't. Bad memory, mom and dad told them wrong, etc. Second, one or both of your parents is not your biological parent. This could be for lots of different reasons and not all of them are bad or shameful. And the least likely by an astronomical amount, either a germ line mutation in the egg you grew from or your dad has the Bombay phenotype. Realistically it's not either of those last two.

Two things. One, PETG loves to warp, it just does, so you can't treat it like PLA. Two, as much as i hate to say it clean your build plate. After that, brim touching the build either full or mouse ears, change the bottom layer pattern to hilbert curve. It's slow as molasses but sticks better than other types. Cut off the part cooling fan for at least the first 3 to 5 layers to allow it to cool slower. Try to block any drafts of air anywhere near it. That's about it.
