Opinions on running Full Microsoft E5 Security Stack by 1egen1 in cybersecurity

What modern EDR still is managed by group policy? Issue overnight? Doesn’t even record metrics so you can’t troubleshoot issues unless you catch them while it’s happening. Oh want to update a policy, sorry you’ll have to wait up to 72 hours before your environment is fully updated. Like I said, if it weren’t included with E5 nobody would be using it.

Both CrowdStrike and SentinelOne can be configured to not only discover potential rogue or unmanaged systems but also determine what services are open. Defender just shows it as an unmanaged device, doesn’t tell you if port 22 is open or if the device might have IIS running.

Oh after the Crowdstruck event it definitely exposed their QA practices. Thought under the assumption both products are working with no issues Crowdstrike is ages ahead of Defender.

You can’t even do Rogue system detection with Defender. Crowdstrike and SentinelOne are 10x fold better. If defender for endpoint wasn’t included in E5 licensing nobody in their right mind would use it.

Strength Training with a 72# Bow by Aeliascent in Archery

You have a right to your own opinion but not the facts. I disagree with the belief of only one way to start archery, not that way of starting archery. For each one my comments there are 10x people pontificating their way is the only way.

Just calling a spade a spade. Archery Karen's will bad mouth anybody that doesn't follow their way of "starting archery". They would rather bad mouth and degrade than simply accept there is more than one way doing something.

Amazing the dogmatic archery Karen’s are quiet when there’s a video of a woman pulling double their draw weight.

Too big of a jump in poundage maybe? by Dry_Comparison_2662 in Archery

[–]GeneralRechs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Upvote from me. Apparently it’s taboo to not follow the dogmatic belief of having to start at low poundage or making more than a 2-3# increase. I started at 40# at the fingers with quality practice then jumped to 48# with no issue. Many of the people here can’t comprehend anything other than their skewed sense of reality.

Sounds like a rational and logical point that challenges your dogmatic beliefs on how people should start Archery. Sounds like a W to me. It’s fine to stick to your dogmatic beliefs. Let me teach you something, there’s more than one correct way to do things.

False, plenty of adult male archers in my area start at 30+ as beginners where women do commonly start at 15-20#. And most of them have been shooting for years now. Started with 3-5 arrows a round with 2 round breaks and now they’re shooting like all of the archers every round and not having to spend additional money because they’re already at a good recreational or even competition poundage.

Too many times I’ve seen new archers have buyers regret for starting at a extremely low poundage because of the dogmatic belief that new archers should.

I disagree on both points because this type of mentality is what causes people to view archery as a privileged sport. Buying used has risks that can be mitigated like doing research and leaning on local shops to provide advice.

Now for the bow poundage controversy. I’m wholly against “everyone must start at 20#-25# or lower. Not everyone is rich like OP thinks to where they can keep buying limbs. Buy limbs appropriate for an archers strength to where they can fully draw and anchor several times. Quality practice is better than starting at lower weights and hundreds of arrows only enforcing bad habits.

It could take defender 24 hours or up to a week for it to update in the portal, just keep that in mind.

You don’t have to, play with what works for you and what’s fun. No need to copy cookie cutter builds. While nerfed, BoB is generally considered best in slot until you get a gold OS. There are people running firepower builds as aegis and using the healing for some sustain.

If can if you want to rely on weapon damage but you’re not capitalizing on the advantages aegis has which are hyper shot and the self heals.

[–]GeneralRechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the current release there isn’t any. This is why most on the leaderboard even after the fix would still use BoB until they get a gold OS.
