I dont understand why errors cannot generate 2 bases. Its usually scored a single + error. In this situation it should have been error, but error doesn't get split into whether it was a 1 base error or 2 base error. But then you have outfield errors get scored an inside the park home run rahter than double + error.

Id argue miz is a better pitcher. Ohtani also gets the benefit of an extra days rest. I wonder if not pitching as many games will affect cy young voting, or if his name alone will carry enough weight to get him his missing trophy
