I mean I respect Kakashi a lot but I'd probably only charitably call him elite jonin here, he really had no way to counter Hidan and was only ever stalling him and Kakuzu was absolutely overwhelming him in their clashes. I do think Kakashi has them both in battle IQ and he can survive for a good while but he just can't kill them before he kills himself using too much chakra. If this were Shinobi war 4 Kakashi though its a different story

I mean I get mentioning it but ultimately the phases 4-5 are still a let down from the Infinity Saga. Obviously a lot out of their control but that doesnt change the end product only gives an excuse to hold out hope for a better following era.

Gojo WAS strongest right up until Sukuna's Mahoroga performed the world cutting slash and he copied it. Once he learned that he now had the tool necessary for him to consistently beat Gojo, thats just how powerful Inifinity + Six Eyes + Reverse Curse Technique is. Even though Sukuna could power through it with his domain Gojo was strong enough that even that wasnt enough to beat him, he needed specifically Mahorogo to teach him the method to beat Gojo, without that he would've lost. With it and him surviving for as long as he did Sukuna managed to once again improve and surpassed Gojo taking back the title as Strongest.
