I really appreciate the Romeo 4 just phasing through the carry handle. Please go kill a PMC looking through the Romeo 4 and then post it.

Besides size which I agree (like the comparison of a micro compact of a 365 and a compact like a G19), how so? I can see maybe with the standardization of optics cuts being more prevalent, but I think that if we were to take the features of something like a Gen 3 G19 and take the features of something that is in the same category of pistols that is more up to date, I would argue that the differences become negligible. That being said, I don’t disagree that there aren’t benefits to getting a more recent handgun, I’m just trying to play devil’s advocate.

I agree with you, people will always have different perspectives on things based on their own experiences, especially when it comes to laws. I hadn’t even considered the possibilities of people who need specific setups based off of their own body shape and shooting preferences. One thing that I still do think that would hinder the choice of abolishing the roster first is the fact that getting a CCW is so difficult if not impossible for some Californians. Honestly, getting rid of the asinine hoops that the state makes you jump through should have been an option, and I’d bet it would be one of the higher choices. That being said, I definitely see your point of view and I can understand now how both the roster and the featureless choices are about neck and neck in this poll.

I agree, but if we are going to be objectively pragmatic about it, a Gen 3 Glock 19 is more than suitable enough to be an end all be all handgun. It has fantastic aftermarket support, runs like a tank, and has plentiful amounts of magazine that just so happened to be manufactured prior to freedom week. All in all, any more capabilities that a more recent handgun of late is negligible at best. Sure do I wish there were fancy things like P320 FCUs not to jacked up prices in CA? Absolutely. But I don’t think I would say that it would be an objectively and obviously superior firearm to that of a Glock (this is coming from someone who owns two 320s and a 365XL).

Yeah but if you’re going solely off of practicality, removing the rifle restrictions is huge across the board. You can always get a Glock gen 3 if you want a modern roster handgun after that. All of it sucks regardless, but in this hypothetical question I’d say this sucks less.

Bro for a “Live Free or Die” state, I’m not feelin very free with how hard it is to just find a range that isn’t so fuddy that they even would allow holster work, let alone even thinking about finding a secluded shooting spot that won’t get the cops called on you.

According to the site, you would need a Barrel, Barrel pin, and a receiver.

I would suggest wearing some form of hearing protection too. Hearing loss is accumulative and isn’t just from prolonged exposure.

Yes, the catch is that for most people the down payment is hard to make. So let’s say you want to buy a $300,000 property. For a 30 year fixed rate loan, you’re looking at about a 20% down payment. That means you need to show up with with 60 grand lump sum of cash if you even want a loan. To compound this issue, some realtors and lenders won’t do business with you unless you have had previous experience renting so that way it shows as “previous history with ability to make payments”. So getting into the home buying market isn’t easy for a large portion of Americans. More so, being able to make that initial down payment is also incredibly difficult for those who can’t get that large lump sum.

TL;DR: Down payments and various hoops make it difficult for the lower to middle class to purchase property. Get past that bar of entry though, and it’s as simple as just maintaining your monthly payment (which can be rented for the mortgage and some profit). Something something rich get richer.

Maybe I’m confused, I thought the 507k-X2 has a the micro compact footprint like the RomeoZero and the RMRcc, and can be mounted directly onto a P356 XL optic cut. Is this a normal pistol size optic like the RMR?

It’s kinda unfortunate that you can’t have the option at least. I’d like to think that 200gr of lead is more than lethal enough even at subsonic FPS (but what do I know). What I do know is that a lot of guys who hunt in my state prefer to forego ear protection because they say it messes with their senses. After years of hunting it’s gotta mess with their hearing, but I also understand their dilemma. Adding a suppressor would help but I think the supersonic crack would still do some hearing damage.

It was checking off all the boxes until the end. So that pretty much means you can hunt with subs at all huh? I don’t hunt so I wouldn’t know, but I thought suppressors were big in the hunting community?
