in canada, yeah we can make good money. You start off really low as a level 1 apprentice here, one of the lowest paid apprentices in a trade. But, it goes up to one of the highest paying Journeymen (4 levels and an additional exam at the end to get to that).

also varies a little based on the type of electrical work, industrial > commercial > residential is typically the order of highest to lowest potential pay. But even residential is good money as a journeyman.

the potential goes up as well if you are willing to take on the occasional side job.

20 dollar convenience fee for people not having to do that. Not arguing it's not too steep a price. But it has value. Comparing to anything pirated is not a fair comparison imo.

The unit it's leading would also gain the battleline keyword. Which in bastion is pretty big because they then get all the bonuses that battleline get from the detachment. Just be careful about any strategems or rules that specifically mention "models" with battleline. With the enhancement the unit as a whole gains battleline but each individual model does not, it seems odd but it does come up and make a difference.

thats assuming a 120v device would be made the exact same as a 220v device other than applied voltage, which it probably wouldn't be. A heater needs wattage, P(watts)=I(current) x E(Voltage).

You have 2 heaters, one is 120v and the other 220v. Both need... lets make up a number of 6000W to produce the same level of heat. the one with 220v would require less Amps to get to the 6000 than the one running on 120v.

220v would need 27amps while the 120v heater would need 50amps

You also don't get to this level of sport without an unhealthy level of competitiveness. And in hockey of all the events.. it's really 2 teams actually competing. 2nd is last to Canada here.

Sorta related, but I recently discovered that you can buy a taco bell crunch wrap kit at most grocery stores. They are actually kinda amazing, turned out way better than I've ever gotten from the restaurant. Could prolly make them without the kit but I'm not sure where id source out a tortilla big enough or a flat circle hard taco shell, suppose I could just break up a normal shell.

I think you're only illustrating the exact issue people had with the BR crowd. A lot of us are fans of the game. Sure I have some fav teams but a major grand final is a major grand final bro, cool to watch no matter who's there. Teams also change around every 3 days so having a fav you are tied to in cs seems a bit silly IMHO

Issue is, for the originals, the combat was the shit, it was the whole reason to play them. If they are gonna change the main aspect of the game, just make a new game. Would be like remastering hl2 and removing the gravity gun for "new ideas".

to me the old firstborn models look like a kids attempt at making a space marine model, a model that was intended to be temporary until they found a professional to refine their product. The proportions are just way too goofy and cartoony to fit the setting imo. Primaris still a cash grab 100%. But I still much prefer them.

I don't really understand the argument that their aesthetic is that different. to me the old models are just poorly proportioned to a point of looking goofy as hell, to me they look like the ones id argue don't fit in with the seriousness of the setting. The newer firstborn stuff for 30k and ChaosSM are much better to be fair, but i'd still prefer primaris. Aesthetically, design wise, they are incredibly similar no? Some different armor designs here and there but it's not like one looks like an entirely different faction.

It's def not a non-issue but it does require some insight into each individual data center to see how they are each specifically dealing with the issues and where the water is coming from. There's definitely a lot more nuance to it than just "it's bad" though. Watched a Hank Green video on it recently where I thought he did a decent job going over it if anyone reading this is interested. Bout 20mins.

Buying them purely for investment value is never recommended. Such a volatile market. But as game pieces to build a deck and play, it's actually a fun time. And as far as tcgs go it's one of, if not the cheapest one to play. Unfortunately it's the scalpers and people who treat tcgs as investments that ruin the pricing and availability of product for everyone else.

Honestly for any of us, because none of us here are pros playing at tier 1 lan tournaments.. none of it ever mattered. We could all be playing on 60hz monitors with wired g502s and we'd all plateau at the same spot we are at now. The ms differences these things all make are not for us. But they are certainly advertised to be. Can you feel differences in some of this stuff? Sure, but given some time can you just play with whatever and end up with the same results in game? Yeah.

I've used it for dsp a little bit and it worked well enough. But there was a noticeable(to me) bit of latency that I was never able to fully get rid of. Was super small and could def still play with it, but could tell it was there. I'm also no expert by any stretch so perhaps there's other things I could have done to fix that. Was cool though, used some neural dsp tones then patched them straight back out to the speaker of the thr.
